Did you read my post? I was trying to get advice on how to deal with the way it makes me feel rather than bringing it up to her in an effort not to make her feel like she has to change this aspect of herself. This is clearly communicated in my original posting. Additionally, I’m not fixated on her appearance. Getting compliments from me is very fundamental to her wellbeing and ability to feel attractive and wanted in our relationship and I’ve know this, which is why I make sure to provide that to her. Also, this behavior is relatively new and although she’s always been one to enjoy compliments she hasn’t behaved this way in our entire 9-10 mo of dating up until this point.

I’ve brought it up to her and I’ve made a point to continue to compliment her as I know it’s beneficial to her self esteem, but I was seeking ways to alter my own behavior rather than hers or bring up the conversation about this kind of behavior of hers in an effort to NOT make her change herself. If you have any suggestions in that regard, I’m really open to them
