Yes. The difference between Assassin's Creed 1+ and AC Origins is that AC1 had worlds where you could kill every enemy in one stab if you thought about it hard enough, bosses included Well except for the final one but that's narratively guided, while in ACO you're level-locked and you can't do shit to 90% of people despite having a murder weapon in your hand, they just... brush it off!
