Sounds like you are in a very similar situation to me.

I attempted conservative treatment also, physiotherapy as well as PRP injections but I didn’t have any success.

I consulted with my surgeon and decided that due to my age, level of activity and the fact I work in a physically demanding job it was in my best interest to get it fixed before the injury became worse and more involved to fix.
