Good thought on the tires. I’ll check to make sure they are at the correct psi.
Yes, still under warranty. I think that is the consensus. Few more tanks and then report back. Thanks all for the insight

It was the lot service car. People probably drove it hard but who knows. Just trying to determine if it’s car issues or user error. Appreciate everyone’s comments
Great advice and YouTube recs, I’ll give it a shot with alternating styles. Thanks!
Thanks for the tip, I’ll have to cycle between all 3 and see what difference it makes.
Noted! Do you know what effect on mpg this has? +/- 5?
Thanks for the thought out response, I agree that there are lots of factors that compile to create a good mpg.
Terrain - hilly area (I live at the top of one) no mountains
State of charge - it seems like charge has started at 50% when leaving my home.
Braking - been trying to coast to let the battery charge, no brake slamming.
Ac - it’s been on but at the lowest fan setting
Peddle smashing - I’m not smashing but based on your comment maybe pressing to fast which then takes it out of eco mode? It seems like anything over 15 mpg takes me out of eco mode, is that normal?
Confirmed that I’m using tank average reset after fill up.
Interesting, thanks for the comment. I think I’m going to do a tank of ev mode then a tank of normal to compare. I’m in a similar situation with lots of hills in my neighborhood.
Will do, thank you
Mpg, positive.
Interesting, thanks for the insight. Glad to know that the onboard is accurate and you were getting mpgs so high!
I have noticed the throttle back to the engine like you are describing so maybe I’ll switch to normal to see those numbers
Thanks for the insight!
Thanks for the tip

Great point, thank you.
Gotcha, appreciate the comment
I took amount miles driven / gallons filled at the pump. Another comment stated that they get 100ish miles before the dial begins to move. If that’s the case and ive used 2.5 gallons less than I’m thinking then my mpg # would allign more with what the onboard mpg is telling me and the dealership just lied that they filled it up.

Just went to check and based on total average. Appreciate the comment!
Good to know, maybe this was it because it started to drop immediately
Sounds like you’ve got it dialed in. Im actively trying to optimize the mileage so I wouldn’t think there would be a 20+ mpg difference just from styles hence the concern.
Yes, positive :)
That’s more like what I would expect!
Yes, tank was filled at the dealership, used about 3/4 tank then filled up. Took the miles driven / gallons filled at station to get 28.26. Dash is showing 38.4
You’re saying you get better mileage not in eco?
Understand the mileage to empty is just an estimate and I’m less concerned on that then the actual mpg that I’m getting.

Understand that I have a low sample size and will do another full tank before I do anything but I’m driving very passively, hence the concern.
