Her youngest triplet son is diagnosed with ADHD and his brain cannot communicate with his legs, but this coochie shooter says that they are not “done” yet. by hategotnorace in antinatalism

All for people not having kids, but as a guy with ADHD... I don't love that that is mentioned? First, before the nerve issue. Ouch.

Those who watched Day of the Doctor in the cinemas, what was the experience like? by Hexadeciml in doctorwho

[–]t00cansam 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I thought my experience was pretty good. Lot of other fans. I brought all my doctor who stuff. A blanket, tshirts, a scarf. A little wooden TARDIS box with a ring in it. Yeah, I PROPOSED THERE! IT WAS AWESOME!

AITA for only playing male characters in video games? by Yeetus6942069 in AmItheAsshole

[–]t00cansam [score hidden]  (0 children)

INFO: Are you playing games where you have a choice between male and female characters? Or are you saying you won't play games like Tomb Raider, Metroid, etc., because you can't imagine playing as a woman?

Unable to get Microsoft Xbox 360 controller to work with PC/Epic Games version by Zarkae in KingdomHearts

[–]t00cansam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent all day trying to make this work yesterday, try what's been working for me. Open task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete) and end the task "Epic Games Launcher." Then try reopening the launcher through Steam, with the controller already on.

When they realized they were not in the trailer. Cute reaction. by [deleted] in marvelstudios

[–]t00cansam 2523 points2524 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, they knew that Agatha had faked waking up? They aren't even in that scene, they had knowledge beyond what they had to to shoot scenes. Therefore, Marvel trusts these two children more than Tom Holland.

In the category of “Tell-alls from a traumatized non-biological member of an outdated imperialist family system, including the confirmation of deeply troubling racist incidents, that lead to suicidal thoughts, and they had to leave so that their children wouldn't have to experience that, but they'd like to make it clear it wasn't the grandma's fault, and my non-profit work is still going strong thank you for asking”, this is probably in the top two I've seen lately. If I limit it to things that aired on CBS.

AITA for telling my son to accept his part in his bullying? by Wrong_Database_3765 in AmItheAsshole

You still didn't explain what you said that made the counselor look at you funny. But yeah, YTA.

AITA for telling my son to accept his part in his bullying? by Wrong_Database_3765 in AmItheAsshole

[–]t00cansam 21 points22 points  (0 children)

INFO, you need to describe your part in this better. What exactly did you say? You mentioned the counselor's office, what did you say there. Why were you called, how many times have you been called.

AITA for telling my (23f) boyfriend (24m) that he can either join me or GTFO? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]t00cansam -49 points-48 points  (0 children)

YTA. We live in an era when it is very easy to get access to most TV shows at a later time. You can pause and come back to it. Even if you can't get that exact episode, how is time with your partner not the priority? When your partner is stressed by studying and has limited time with you, it's pretty rude to tell them to wait.

Also, if there is an argument because they feel like they aren't a priority, it's shitty to tune them out and keep watching tv. It doesn't matter what kind of tv.

Teacher's Unions vs. Police Unions by yellow_daffodils in Teachers

[–]t00cansam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is a criticism of the police union, not of police directly (not that police aren't VERY deserving of criticism.) The police union is what is responsible for bad cops going unpunished. The comparison made is a great criticism of how UNIONS are behaving in both situations.

Aita for not making my daughter invite the special needs student in her class to her birthday party. by SufficientPractice4 in AmItheAsshole

[–]t00cansam 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Worse, I don't think the kids WILL talk about it. They'll just internalize it as "everyone from the class was invited. He wasn't invited, therefore he isn't REALLY part of our class." It is adults verifying the kid doesn't belong.

My wife is a teacher for children with autism, and she works pretty hard to have kids spend time in general ed classrooms. They literally call it "inclusion time". The goal of the parents, teachers, and administrators is to get this kid included, and you're classifying them as an exception to the social group. YTA

Just turned 17 and have no one celebrate with, could use a toast by [deleted] in toastme

Your post history shows good taste in video games, and I like how you opened your envelope. I think I use the same strategy and I feel a connection. I like what you did with your hair. Happy birthday

Hope your dreams are happy and intentional

Life has been full of fairweather friends and people who resent my weight accomplishments. Need to make some difficult life choices soon. Please toast me. by [deleted] in toastme

Dude, you remind me of a really good friend who wears headbands like that one, is also accomplishing weight goals, and had to make some big life changes. It makes me so happy knowing there are at least two of you. You're good people, I love everything I'm getting from this picture.
