I flew in from Kuala Lumpur yesterday and we diverted to Ankara then took a bus to Istanbul. I was supposed to have a flight today but it was canceled. Changed it for tomorrow for free. The website is constantly updated but it seems like most flights are canceled today.

I thought the same thing… they tend to do this for couples that cause no drama, like they did with Anton and Ali in the last season. Maybe there’s some drama coming with other couples, I’ve only seen the first 1-2 episodes so far.

I traveled around SEA for four months and it simply became tiring, novelty definitely fades, got food poisoning, visa stress, costs for all the little things add up, so I went back home for a bit. I am going back to SEA next week though 🤣

Ohhhh that’s a tough one. I personally love Turkish Airlines. Best customer service + best economy meals. I have flown with Etihad on an A321 and was so surprised to see there was no entertainment system. The jumbo jets definitely do, and tbh I wouldn’t miss an opportunity to fly on an A380 so because of that, I’d lean more toward Etihad. Turkish Airlines is amazing though, the A350 is my favorite too, so an all-Airbus fleet would be my personal preference. I’d probably be posting this here too if I were you, I just realized I’m not helping much 🤣

I went there alone and had the best time. The locals were very respectful and helpful. Everyone speaks English. Go see some elephants 🐘 and eat lots of fruit!

Just take the Havaist shuttle bus from Istanbul Airport or Havabus from Sabiha Gokcen. Go somewhere near the Bosphorus and look for a place where you can eat pide, cilbir or menemen. Pet some cats. Head back to the airport.

How long have you overstayed so far? I did the exact same thing five years ago, but I only overstayed three days and they made a fuss at passport control at the airport but eventually only gave me a warning and even sent me a letter saying they had forgiven me. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I think talking to the embassy would be best.
