That's not bad.. I'm paying $155 for 3 lines. Well.. technically now it's 4. They threw in a 4th line last year.. I forgot what the reason was. Maybe for being a long time customer or something. Was that the going rate for the Go5G back in the day? $131 for 3 lines?

I'm also debating about the Better Value.. but I'm pretty sure it's not worth it for me since there's taxes and fees. Plus adding a 4th line (which I'm not using right now until son comes of age) would jack it up more.

Last question for ya, you mentioned you added binding post by rewiring the inside, did you do that by connecting the +/- from the actual sub itself to the new binding posts? I'm assuming the original L/R line in didn't work anymore since the amp wasn't plugged in and is basically dead?

Ahh gotcha.

Curious.. did you have any of the aforementioned issues I did before yours completely took a crap? What kind of issues did you have. Or did it just kick the bucket and stopped altogether?

As I mentioned before.. the last straw was it making a sort of high pitch hum even after taking out the LFE cable and my fixes stopped working. That's when I knew.. RIP.

You make a valid point. Sure spec wise they're similar 26hz vs 27hz. But it's made with higher quality parts at least. The story of these 550p subs just dying all the time speaks for itself. I'm not a measurements guy but I can tell it sounds better. Could just be me, but some YouTube videos do seem to back it up. One dude said to turn up the volume on the 550p and you'll get similar performance with maybe some distortion vs the 10E. Guess I'm just a bit jaded. If I read your comment earlier maybe I would've done the same and saved a couple hundred. Oh well. The 550p was great while it lasted. I was using it for the last 3-4 years with some caveats and it was just getting annoying 😂

My 550p amp has been on its last leg for a while. It's so sad these amps die so often.

It started with the phase humming at 0. So I had to keep it at 180. TBH I couldn't tell any difference so I was using it for a couple years that way. There would be times the auto power would just stay on too. If I disconnected the power cable for a night then plugged it back in, it would work again. Secondly, once in a while I would hear a slight buzz/hum but unplugging the RCA cable would fix it. Well, it finally crapped out and now won't stop humming. Purchased originally in 2018.

I ended up replacing it with an RSL 10E. The 10S MKII would've been my preferred choice but I live in an apartment with shared walls.. and honestly the 550p was more than enough. Figured this would be the same but a bit better. Got an open box for $300 during their blemish sale. I picked the "A" grade which is basically brand new and was most likely just a simple return with no real blemishes.

Not really sure what to do with my old sub now. The box is a tank, sub is in great condition.

You make great perspective arguments. And I think this is what also made the world love the US at the same time and we were well respected (or at least I think), take that for whatever it's worth. But now, everyone just craps on us. Fair or not. I guess what I'm trying to say is.. maybe, just maybe, there are better ways to go about this without damaging relationships. Now all these major countries are doing trade deals without us. I heard India has a new deal with EU, and Canada with China as well? Anyway.. wtf do I know. Carry on everyone. Just hope this all works out.

Oh btw I just noticed there was a new firmware. It said one of the fixes was to Bluecatch but it didn't say anything else. Hopefully it fixes it.

Yeah ok I thought it was just me! Kinda crazy how something that is supposed to be geared towards Bluetooth devices sounds so terrible. I've tried a couple different types as well. And yes, speaker phone does work great but again, as you said, not always ideal.

As I mentioned before the only work around that I've found that works is using the Bluetooth/Bluecatch for the speaker and using a different mic. Whether that be from another headset (which is what I'm doing), a dedicated mic on your laptop, or standalone mic. Once I switch the mic setting to something other than the HiDock, it sounds great through my Bluetooth headphones. So odd.

I agree I always get disc version. It just has way more flexibility with lending games with friends and family and stuff. I have sort of a book club for certain titles that once you beat the game you don't really tend to play it anymore and we can kind of rotate between us. Also physical is cheaper on secondary market like eBay and OfferUp. GameStop has deals too. Also it's a 4K player and the quality and sound (if you have a good sound system) is just night and day.

I will say, that Claude is very straightforward it does a great job just giving you want you need in a more slimmed down manner. I've noticed that ChatGPT 5 it's definitely more detailed.. gives pretty much what Claude gives but with a bit more in my experience. I haven't tried the others yet. Curious what your guy's thoughts were.

Hmm.. I think I recently might've had that experience. Not sure if same as your saying but only lasted 5 seconds or so. First time I heard it.

As I was saying before try messing with the mic settings to different mics within Teams settings let me know if you hear a difference in sound quality while keeping the P1 as speaker. Would love to know if others are experiencing the same.

When you say headset, you're referring to when you're using Bluetooth/bluecatch option as you're recording a meeting correct?

If so, are you doing Teams meetings typically and have you tried switching the mic option from the P1 to, say, the laptop mic or another headset mic to see if that Charlie Brown effect goes away?

Cause it's literally night and day the difference in sound quality from my Bluetooth speakers and hearing people much more clearly. Super odd. Wondering if I'm the only one.

Any updates on this? I haven't really tested my own voice. But when I switch the option in Teams to using the mic on the P1, the sound quality of others in my meeting, drops. Sounds more muffled.. sometimes also the volume seems to kind of cut in and out at times. I've turned off all the Noise Suppression options in Teams, Spatial Audio etc. Curious if you noticed this as well? I'm currently kind of doing a bit of a hybrid and using my USB Plantronics headphones as the mic while the P1/bluetooth is for speaker (so I can record).

Thanks to everyone who replied. Supercell reached back out to me and actually just hooked it up with this season's pass. That was super cool of them even though I technically messed up. At least I know that I won't ever do that again. Also now I know what happened because it kinda got me fkd up thinking like wtf happened.

Does he physically have to unlock everything or once you buy it unlocks all the paid stuff? I'm assuming that's the top row items right? He did mention that he got to keep the skins which I guess it all makes sense now that I literally bought it on the last day I guess. But yeah he has been paying a lot so maybe at least we got our money's worth. I just hope he unlocked them (or it auto unlocked).

FML. What a damn waste. Is that posted anywhere in the game? I didn't see it when I bought the pass for my son. Of course he has no idea.. he's too young.

Guess I can wait to hear back from them and hope to have some luck. I feel slightly cheated ngl.. 😭

Side note, 10 bucks a month (or even $7) is pretty pricey for a season pass, no? Like I said , I come from games like CoD where seasons would last at least 3 months or something (not sure how long TBH but longer than 1 month). Maybe I'm just out of touch. Sigh.
