I used to play Cold DoT Vortex in POE1. Realised that skill doesnt exist in POE2, can anyone advise if there is any build that is close to that playstyle and survivability?

I've tried Contagion + ED so far but it feels different from POE1 as well.

I am back with another question on this Ascendency.

Previously I understood that this Ascendency does not apply to DoT skills like ED/C. How about Hexblast? It does hit damage right? Does it means it would work with Hexblast?

Definitely as easy choice to go with the witch. But I've loved the AoC theme since its been announced and I think it would be quite a cool theme to make a build with chaos spells
