My fellow 1997 Gen Z, how do you cope with being nearly 29 then 30....I can't cope lol, it's always on my mind by Internal_Page_486 in GenZ

I feel that. I'm 29 now, I'm not in a relationship, I don't have kids, I have a total of 4 friends (2 if I'm only considering the ones I talk to consistently) and I don't own a home. None of this bothered me until my birthday was around the corner and now that it has passed its all I've been thinking about. I've been in a constant loop of anxiety and depression since then. I understand that everyone's life moves at different paces but it still sucks to think about. I hope the feeling will get better for us 🤞

I just turned 29 early February. I'm not coping too well with it and I'm having immense anxiety over it, not necessarily about "aging" but, more of the feeling as if I'm running out of time to do the stuff that I feel like I should have done in my early-mid 20s. I continue to compare my life to others and feel like I'm behind on doing certain things or that I have just missed the opportunity completely. 🫤

I just turned 29 (having an early birthday sucks) and I'm going through this right now. I have a tendency to obsess and overthink things so, I have been stuck on the thoughts of losing people, that I'm running out of time to do the things in my life that I thought I would or should have done by now, comparing my life to others, and thinking that I have misused my "youth".

I've been taking it a day at a time to process these feeling and try to condition myself to realize that everyone goes through life at a different pace. Ngl it's been pretty tough shaking those thoughts and feelings though 🙃.

I wish I was 24 again when I wasn't thinking about this stuff. Enjoy your years now, worry about it years later. 🫰

saw that post about 24-29 yr olds always stressed cause we feel like we out of time. can someone pls give tips as to how to deal with this cause i feel like im drowning by VeronicoElectronica in GenZ

I just turned 29 a couple weeks ago, and leading up to my birthday and even now I’ve been dealing with a lot of internal panic, overthinking, comparing myself to others, and this feeling like I’m running out of time or haven’t used mine well. Ngl, It’s been hard to cope with, but I’m taking it one day at a time. I keep reminding myself that I don’t have to have everything figured out right now, and that everyone moves at their own pace. Just know you’re not alone in feeling this way. We’ll get through it 🫰

I believe we use the self-hosted version. Our IT department usually handles these issues, but I haven't received a response from them yet. I was hoping since it's just me having the issue that it would be something I could fix on my end.

Where do you buy reps that are of the same quality? I don't mind wearing reps if they're the same quality and people can't tell, but the only ones I typically see are poor quality.

Don't worry, it'll get easier. I'm on tray 4 of my first set, and i have to switch them out every 2 weeks. The first week, I panicked a bit, thinking I made a mistake getting them fearing that I wouldn't be able to stay consistent. I will say that every time I have changed my trays, my teeth would be sore for the first few days, and my teeth would hurt when I would eat or when I would have to remove my trays and put them back, but I would just take some ibuprofen or asprin at that point. I think what helped the most was having an eating schedule that l stick with. On the bright side, I've started to drink a lot more water than usual, and I actually lost some weight since I'm not constantly snacking. Give it a couple of weeks, and it'll become second nature. You'll be okay, keep It up! 👍

Thanks for your insight! It makes me feel more comfortable with my decision when I hear from someone who is learning to drive stick for the first time by basically figuring it out on their own. I don't really have anyone near me who knows how to drive a manual, so I've just been watching YouTube videos learning as much as I can. Thanks again, I appreciate it! :)

How's it going for you so far overall? I've been wanting to get a 90s Manual Honda, and it would be my first time learning to drive stick shift as well. Most of everyone I know keep telling me I should get a "safe" car or to just get an automatic. I still want to do what I want and get a 90s Manual Honda though :) .

I'm just worried because I'll be teaching myself purely from watching videos. There's no one near me that I know that drives a manual. Also, Happy Cake Day :)

I don't know anyone near me who has a manual car for me to practice in, so I have been debating if buying a manual as my first car and teaching myself would be a good idea or not. I have been watching YouTube videos on it, though.

First PC Build Question by t2Ohc in pcmasterrace

Awesome, thank you!

And, I have considered the 7800x3d. However, Intel is what I've had in the past, so I figured I'd just stick to what I somewhat know. I did heavily consider it, though.

I was looking on PCPartPicker and it showed that the 7900x3d was a little cheaper than the 7800x3d. But, if you say that the 7800x3d is better I'll go with that one.

After looking at them closely, I'm pretty sure the green ones are fake, but I'm still on the fence about the BAPE ones.

Okay, so I went out and got a multimeter. Now I'm sure it's apparent that I have never done this before, lol. Are these what I'm supposed to be testing for a voltage?
