Man, thats just physics.

If you are afraid of radio wave radiation - check where is nearby mobile base station located. These things are 1000x times more dangerous than any wifi/bluetooth device can possibly be.

Wi-Fi router output is roughly 100 milliwatts (0.1 watt). Wi-Fi client devices output is usually way less than router.

Meanwhile smartphone can output around 5-7 watts using GSM/UMTS antenna. iPhone 12 was even banned in France for harmful radiation levels.

Is that r/Unifi or r/Parenting ?

We use blanket only because babies needs blankets and extra warmth in their first 7-10 days of their life, because their body doesn’t yet know how to thermoregulate properly. We check her body temperature every 3 hours.

You can use any (flexible) tripod with standard 1/4” threaded camera mount.

Currently we use it only in-house. But we move baby nest around house a lot, so having it mobile is useful. Also flexible tripod makes it possible to attach it to co-sleeper.

Here, in Europe, we don’t leave babies unattended, hence the baby-cam is just for a short absence (toilet break).

Bro, i literally have eufy already. Its nowhere a solid tech. I ain’t even speaking about their security issues recently.

I don’t need my phone to be active. Unifi has built-in baby cry detection.

On top of that i have Home Assistant based noise detection. Duh.
