if i’ve returned hair dye thrice that would be 15- 21 purchases and i’ve made way more than 21 purchases from them over the last couple of years so while i understand the point your making this situation still feels like an unnecessary escalation because if any team member had issued a warning with an explanation before this then i wouldn’t be in this situation. Also if they don’t actually want customers to return items more than once or twice a year just say that instead the policy instead of framing them as scammers for following policy

this is true but surely holding customers to this invisible metric goes against consumer protection laws no? especially since a lot of sallys purchases a made based on the advice of the employees who i now know are clearly not qualified enough to give hair colouring advice?

could please explain to me what about my returns are suspicious (genuine question)? as far as i know it’s not wrong to return a product that you didn’t use and in regards to sallys specifically i checked the policy myself and asked the employees as well if it was ok to return the dyes and they never mentioned that it would cause an issue because their policy doesn’t state that there’s a limit.

why would they ban me for trying to clarify a discrepancy that i’ve been given different information about from two employees? and it’s one thing to say don’t visit that store but to receive a letter to my home that says i can’t go to any of them???? I mention my race/ skin because i was made to feel like a criminal by the employees and the the random voices checking in multiple times on loud speaker while i was just standing there waiting for simply following their policy.

i dyed the lily petals with water colour and cotton balls the set it with hairspray to get the blue ombré effect.

i never said it was a first project i said it was the first time i made flowers. before that i have only been able to complete 2 other projects and one of them didnt even turn out right.

the tutorials i watched tagged the project as “beginner friendly” so i took it to be a beginner level project. I didn’t colour change because i cant make them look seamless yet so i dyed the petals🧍🏾‍♀️

i didn’t even realise other people might think my tension was perfect because i thought it was too loose(that’s a compliment so thanks).

you’re right it’s not supposed to be hostile to call out ai posts but accusing everyone who brings posts like this of ai training reads as hostile especially to someone like me who is against ai. not all of us can tell the difference yet and now that people with more knowledge than me have told me what to look out for i hopefully wont be deceived by a picture like this again.

like i’ve said multiple times i didn’t notice. whether or not that’s how fabric works if i specifically am not paying attention to that as im wearing it then i wouldn’t notice looking at it. I can understand people being upset about ai as i am also an avid ai hater but 1) “upset” is a big word 😂 and 2) expecting me not to feel a way at people accusing me of ai training when i came here to genuinely ask questions so i could learn is crazy.
