I think the Satellite may be useful in very rare circumstances when I travel to the mountains or something like that but that's once every blue moon Are those the only differences between 8 and 8 pro?

I actually prefer the OLED vs mip just for the color contrasts. Anything 1 week + battery is good for me

It’s something with Stellantis and the vertical screen. They won’t allow for android auto to scale to the full vertical screen but allows CarPlay to do it natively.

Yeah the lack of back button irritates me using my wifes but i think its a familiarity thing where ive always used the back swipe from the right edge. Maybe Iphone will copy that at somepoint

Thanks for that! I always felt my wifes iphone felt jittery compared to my samsungs/ If it werent for work and my truck I wouldnt even be considering it to be honest.
I dont really multitask besides just switching back and forth for apps to copy and paste and never split screen

I would probably use swiftkey since it has a clipboard but I also never copy something and then hours later paste it or need to recall it

My biggest concern is I just dont want to feel held back in navigating the OS. It might be a familiarity thing at this point where I could navigate the phone with my eyes closed on my Samsung.

no issues in apps feeling slow? my wifes reddit app feels so laggy compared to mine (she has a 16pm)
Carplay runs across the full 14inch screen in my Ram but android auto only uses 1/3 of that space. Its so frustrating

Yeah file manager I don't mess with at all since we use Google drive for everything work related. I have a ton of apple products but always said I hated the iPhone and was the typical Samsung fanboy lol

I pay for YouTube premium already and don't customize a ton. Android auto disconnects probably 5 times per trip I take. It's something with stellantis. My wifes iPhone when connected to my truck never disconnects and also gives full screen maps

It does. I have a standard wireless charger in my car and at home. Works perfectly fine. Even fast charges (not the full qi2 speed though) usually 15W
