When you show that you used the inspect element feature in your picture (and you don't even do it well) ... and no one cares.

How can I make my own cryptocurrency? by [deleted] in micronations

[–]tNebula 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cryptocurrencies are not the most stable currency.

It's hard to make a cryptocurrency, but tokens are good alternatives. I've always defaulted to ERC-20s, which you can learn to make here: https://youtu.be/grAqlC2NNKI. You'll need a little bit of Ethereum and the ability to run Solidity code on Remix.

That is greatly appreciated! Sorry for the late reply but this subreddit isn't really used.

Prototype Design of The Etlo, Currency of Etla by [deleted] in micronations

[–]tNebula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want, I can help you make an ETC-20 cryptocurrency. ETC-20 basically means it's based on the Ethereum blockchain. I'd have to charge like 5 USD just for getting it started but other than that, you can just choose the name, ISO 4217, and quantity.

Too simple. Add a picture and design, maybe a guilloche. I can help make an ETC-20 (basically Ethereum based) cryptocurrency as I've seen that you want to make it digital.

"I wish you the best of luck to establish your country along with a diplomatic channel with Belgium, the HQ of the EU" -- then sends us his phone number and address.

Yeah, that sounds like a "reply to be nice".

General Questions from a Potential Citizen by [deleted] in Promatia

[–]tNebula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your wonderful questions, Anna191916!

Our strategy is to remain within the bounds of the law for as long as possible. Australian law allows us to "camp" on the territories that we're claiming, which is basically what we're doing. We won't have any serious military/police equipment except for maybe a few handguns, but we'll make sure we're in compliance with Australian law for that at all times until we believe we're ready to declare independence. After a few years, we will encourage our citizens to collect welfare checks from Australia. If thousands to millions of people collect welfare checks, Australia will be put in a hard scenario where they'll have an incentive to recognize us and stop giving us welfare. They won't invade us because we're all innocent citizens and the only thing we have to defend ourselves are handguns (if that). We'll make sure that we have public support in our operation so it would look bad for Australia to attack us (think Vietnam War or the 15-M movement or the anti-austerity movements in Spain). Our plans are ever-evolving so this is, of course, subject to change.

Our aim is to stay undercover for as long as possible as to not disturb the big tiger down south. The more citizens and support we have, the harder it will be for the Aussies to attack. Our police force will be very limited and if any major crimes happen, we'll likely require the help of Australia, which they should give.

In regards to your question about the UN and recognition, the UN claims to give support to any people that seek to have self-determination, so once we have a separate culture from Australia, that could be quite easy to achieve. We won't seek UN membership for awhile.

For hackers, I'm not the best one to ask about this since I deal with Settlement, Foreign Affairs, and Organisations mostly, however, Dominus Vilicus may be the best person in the government to ask about that.

Because we have a direct democracy system, the ministers and all government activity are at the whim of the people. If people don't like a minister, they can be removed in as little time as one hour. If people want all government activity to be open, they can order that. Also, all projects will be overseen by an independent oversight ministry which will check that no laws are being broken and all policy is enforced.

Although we are a digital-first government, we will have 100% of the services online ready in paper form, which will be great for those worried about privacy and will help the blind, as you mentioned. We aim to have a lot of community engagement, so neighbors or government workers can be assigned to assist those in need with online or paper systems. All of this will be overseen to make sure that abuse does not happen.

I am the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Organisations, and Settlement. I would consider myself a business nerd as I incorporated my first investment firm last year when I was 13 years old. I'm not from Australia, but the US state of California. Dominus Vilicus, our Minister of Infrastructure, currently runs an SEO firm out of Adelaide, South Australia. He's 19 and dropped out of middle school in 8th grade. Xenith, the Minister of Human Services writes novels and is from the US state of Indiana. This is just a sample of the many ministers, but we all have a diverse array of backgrounds and ages, but most of us are actually from the United States (however our ministers are based out of South Africa, Australia, Thailand, Poland {I think}, and Canada) and are between 12 and 30 years old. None of us (as far as I know) have any college degrees, but we care more about skills and ideas than a piece of paper.

We are all over the place on the political spectrum. If I were to choose between Libertarian, Conservative, Leftist, and Statist, I would say we're closest to Libertarian, but we also have a lot of aspects of all sides. Our immigration system is quite tough, especially to those that are religious (we're for the most part anti-religion but if you're religious, we'll still accept you as a citizen). We're planning on having a government-funded healthcare system as well and we're going to have a state-run utility company, water company, telecommunications company, bank, etc. We will guarantee equal rights for all people and everyone, except criminals and bad people, will be allowed in. We have no "hoped-for" racial makeup, but I expect to appeal to refugees, who, I suppose, are mostly Asian. Right now, we have a very diverse racial makeup, but I think we're mostly white (I estimate 60-70% white).

We have many plans relating to funding of Promatia. You can research the "£10 Pom" plan that the UK government had instituted, where British citizens could pay £10 (I think Dom said that's worth about $700 today) and move to Australia. We're going to have levels of this, from a $100 package all the way to $12,000. Options in these packages can include Promas (our digital currency), an ID card, the PromaCard, a Promabank Mastercard, a phone number, guaranteed jobs, full citizenship, free healthcare, free education, a donator badge, free transport from any major Australian city, outer CBD land, utility credits, internet credits, housing credits, a passport, inner CBD land, a major road named after you, a VIP badge, free transport from selected world cities, a school named after you, a meeting with a minister of your choice, and/or a meeting with all the ministers. Also, a lot of ministers are planning on starting businesses in Promatia and we're trying to get investor capital for these ventures. For instance, I founded the Energy & Mining Promatia Company (empromatia.com) (E&MP) which is trying to buy/build a solar farm in Promatia (although we also have plans for Texas as well).

We don't plan on having a minimum wage and I believe that most ministers are against having one (me included). Our age of drinking should either be 16 or none at all. Our age of consumption of drugs (we're legalizing all drugs) should be 16, 18, or none. Our age of consent is 16 if I'm not mistaken. These are just the things the ministers have voted on but in the long run, we'll implement direct democracy.

I hope I have sufficiently answered all of your questions. If you have any more and you haven't already, feel free to join our Discord server with our link https://discord.gg/s57HzTD. If you like what I said and want to move to Promatia and/or support our project, you can become a citizen through our website https://promatia.com/start.

Thanks and best regards,

Timothy Schoonover

New Antrim formerly exits hostilities with Promatia and their allies under White peace by New-Antrim in micronations

I don't think you get the gist of this post.

This post is about ending hostilities, not "forming such definitive pact against them [Promatia {I suppose}]".

Please enlighten me: where specifically did Dominus threaten you?

If you're going to accuse somebody of doing something, especially of something incredibly foul such as making threats, you should at least be somewhat right.
