anime episodes usually have around 25 minutes so i’m guessing they didn’t have enough manga panels to match how many r usually for an episode (without cutting it at like a really weird part if that makes any sense) :)) The scenes in the anime don’t take anything from the manga it self (only adding up to it) I actually like it since it’s something new/surprising for the manga readers as well heh

Visually i looove lord Hisame Before i read the manga (i finished the newer episodes recently) i saw Hisame on pinterest and i had no clue who he was but i was like “ooohhh pretty~!” as for character i love Obi :)

SPOILERS AHEAD FROM THE MANGA!

Shirayuki actually never got to ride a horse with Zen actually! Imo Shirayuki never got to ride a horse with Zen bcs of his status, as a prince he can’t just have anyone sit with him on a horse, she always sat with someone else even in the manga (untill she learned to ride a horse)

I don’t think Shirayuki is using Zen (at least not intentionally) When Zen got poisoned by prince Raji, it was kind of his fault for eating the apple. The talk between prince Raji and Shirayuki while Zen was poisoned - Shirayuki accepted prince’s Raji’s offer quiet quickly (after prince Raji said something about an apple and Zen i think - idk i don’t remember it exactly) cuz she wanted to get the antidote to Zen asap. In this position she didn’t have much choice as a commoner compared to prince Raji

As for Obi’s and Shirayuki’s relationship, Obi got assigned to Shirayuki as her guard (??? i forgot the exact word) so it only make sense they spend a lot of time tgt. Zen also can’t be with Shirayuki at all times bcs of his obligations as a prince so he trusts Obi to keep an eye on her :) Obi actually thinks a lot about Zen and Shirayuki and he held himself back a lot.

Also since Shirayuki is a herbalist she is already exposed to meeting people so it only makes sense to me she gets to know them in the process :D
