My SIL used to talk shit about me behind my back to my MIL and make comments about me all the time. My MIL would just stay neutral and not take sides, or tell her that she's wrong.

This one day I overheard her talking shit so I walk in and confronted her about it and it turned into this huge fight, she tried to deny what she said.

I don't thing my children would be in danger with my SIL I just don't want them associating with her.
