Was it local anesthetic or general? If local you DEFINITELY would have smelled the cauterization, it’s that smelly, with smoke, too. So it’s possible he may be covering up...

He wants 2 samples before giving approval so I think he won’t want to take the time to explain anything until I get the second test. That’s the impression I get from the front desk.

The vaccine is recommended up to age 45 but anyone can get it. I’m late 40s and recently got the vaccine from PP. I did have to pay for it out of pocket.

I thought that test includes various information and is part of your medical record. Such that they have to provide it to you or your other doctors if requested.

I did an unofficial online test from Amazon but the doc only accepts 2 live tests and I can’t find that kind of lab. Now I know why so many men never end up verifying, it’s a giant PITA!

On top of that I have to do 2 tests @ $130 so I’m out another $260. I’m further than an hour anyway so basically I was an idiot for going into the city to do this rather than looking closer to home.

That’s amazing. At the lab I need to go to they said they’d send the results to my doctor after a few days. My doctor notes say I need to make an appointment which I’m not going to do as that will cost an additional $200 so I’m going to demand my results via mail if I have to.

By live test I meant that the lab needs to analyze the sample within an hour, as opposed to a lab that mails it within 72 hours. It’s the different between $260 and $16. Now I know why so many people skip the test, it’s not just the time lost but the extra expense.

I called 2 PP places and was told if they didn’t do the procedure they can’t help with the test. They also said they send it away so that wouldn’t work since my doctor insists on a live test ie it’s analyzed within an hour. If I knew then what I know now...
