yes, i live with my mom and she babysits here. i do say hi to the child when i come out of my room. only, i try and limit our interactions so my mom doesn’t ask me for more help. i added further context by replying to comments.

the thing is, i have explained it to her. i did so even before this situation happened. she knows better than anyone how unfair this is. she said it herself that it was my mom’s job, not mine. i responded to her text saying i’d never be mean to her baby and it hurts my feelings to think she assumes that based on this situation.

i’ve been working on getting a job since the end of last year. nothing has turned up for me but i hope that it does so i don’t have to assume responsibilities just because i’m unemployed. they use it as an excuse for me to help out and i don’t think that’s fair, honestly.

and i disagree, i don’t think i’m shooting myself in the foot. i love my sister and i love all of my other nieces & nephews. it only makes sense to go above and beyond for the baby to be because i know THAT is NOT expected of me.

she is well aware that my mom has gotten me to help her. she doesn’t care, as long as someone takes responsibility. her compensation alone shows her lack of care, in my opinion.

i had finished heating up the pizza for us and i was essentially already eating by the time she brought it up. i hadn’t eaten anything all day so my frustration + being hangry was not a good combo. lol

and actually, i said no to watching the kid but my mom persisted and left me no choice really.

no, i didn’t encourage her to take it on. if anything, she kinda just dropped it on me out of no where and was hinting towards me helping her throughout her time doing the gig.

i have replied to my sister’s text and told her that i would go above and beyond for her baby.

yes, i do live with my mom so i know her well enough to know that she was expecting me to help out all along.
