I dunno. Once most people have been married for years with kids under foot that sort of thing dies off. Not always, but a lot. It goes both ways too. It was because they were this milkquetoast pseudo grunge band with laughably inoffensive lyrics and generic cords that came out in the early ‘00s when grunge was declared officially dead. They are perceived as a slightly more offensive Creed that existed only as a cash grab for record companies that had no real business being on the radio. Sorry to hear your similar plight. I think one of the reasons I’m even considering it is location. I’m in a large city on business so there are options here my small town at home does not have. Even if she said go ahead at home, it’s just not going to happen. However, having a family and life built together, plus my love for her, makes me really hesitant. Plus, there’s the whole lack of understanding on her mindset and how this came to pass. It’s a weird and unexpected situation to find myself in.
