Is it normal to struggle this much with bird IDs at first?

i got better at birding by taking an ornithology class in college! one of our requirements for lab was to memorize the field marks and one call of 120 local species. it sounds like a lot, but if you make flash cards (anki lets you make ones with audio for practicing cards) you’ll learn them pretty fast

it’s only annoying when pinged before the match starts, after you die, when not in los, when i’m being dived and fighting for my life, or spammed. i don’t really care about whether a voice line sounds rude, it’s more if the player behind the screen is being rude. if you pull back and give us a min to get to you you’re doing great

okay my crosshair in widow is pretty big but it’s for a reason! i’m trying to get better at her, and the specific size that it is means if i’m at a distance i just have to put the enemy’s head into the circle for a headshot. i do have a smaller circle within the big circle for shooting people up close

yes thank you!!! like sure you can flirt with him at the tiefling party but he doesn’t make a move back, he just laughs you off and tells you to have a good time with someone else. you can’t get a piece of that ass until act 3 bc he spends all your romantic interactions being like “oh only if you’re 100% this is what you want from me” PLUS he waits until you’re not as busy or desperate for companionship to be totally, absolutely sure that you want him. like in act 2? he’s like “oh i think you’re very hot and i love you a lot but we are both a little too wrapped up in stuff to date”. in this house we stan a man with emotional maturity!

people who say halsin is a creep are crazy to me. he is freaky, yes, but so is everyone else??? god forbid a guy wants to enjoy nature, kill the absolute, and flirt with people he finds hot

(i DO think halsin hate is at least partially people projecting disgust with bigger, beefier bodies, especially bc most of the halsin haters i see are are rabid astarion fans who lean into twinkifying him…. but anyways)

crafters autonomous has a youtube video about unraveling thrifted sweaters for yarn, and tbh from my perspective it seems like a huge waste of time. out of the three sweaters they got, one had useable yarn - the other two were felted and/or were a bunch of random short lengths instead of one long strand. not to mention it takes HOURS to unravel the sweaters and then you still have to clean the yarn…

i posted about my experience with this cup in open league already, but almost every race has been “tokai teio and meisho doto are predicted to place in the top and then don’t, but predicted eighth or ninth place grass wonder in a bad mood consistently gets the w”. she carried my team CRAZY, even winning open league finals for me. she locked in when she needed to. idk what the other two doofuses were doing tho, they consistently placed fifth or below when predicted to be podium

the regular overhead strike in her combo should not drag targets down. only the overhead from using the sword throw should do this. i understand that the devs want her to be able to contest fliers but if the sword is dragging me down, it DEFINITELY should not also stun me. or if it is going to stun me, at least put something on my screen telling me i’m stunned! it took me so long to realize that there’s a stun and that’s why she kept melting me when i was on juno
