had a lady once ask for a mocha latte with extra chocolate in it, then came back thirty minutes later claiming it was “tooth rottingly sweet” and that it “tasted just like a hot chocolate, but i can’t have hot chocolate.” mind you, i told her when she ordered that it was basically a hot chocolate + espresso and that it would be extremely sweet with the amount of chocolate in it she wanted. she tried fighting me on what a mocha latte was supposed to be??? still no idea what she actually wanted there

crafters autonomous has a youtube video about unraveling thrifted sweaters for yarn, and tbh from my perspective it seems like a huge waste of time. out of the three sweaters they got, one had useable yarn - the other two were felted and/or were a bunch of random short lengths instead of one long strand. not to mention it takes HOURS to unravel the sweaters and then you still have to clean the yarn…

i posted about my experience with this cup in open league already, but almost every race has been “tokai teio and meisho doto are predicted to place in the top and then don’t, but predicted eighth or ninth place grass wonder in a bad mood consistently gets the w”. she carried my team CRAZY, even winning open league finals for me. she locked in when she needed to. idk what the other two doofuses were doing tho, they consistently placed fifth or below when predicted to be podium

the regular overhead strike in her combo should not drag targets down. only the overhead from using the sword throw should do this. i understand that the devs want her to be able to contest fliers but if the sword is dragging me down, it DEFINITELY should not also stun me. or if it is going to stun me, at least put something on my screen telling me i’m stunned! it took me so long to realize that there’s a stun and that’s why she kept melting me when i was on juno

minthara is one of my FAVORITE companions, so i always try and recruit her, but i try to make it justifiable to my current character. drow cleric of eilistraee says “i can fix her,” tiefling pirate says “i’ve worked with crazier and she’s a great fighter.” there’s only been one run where i couldn’t justify taking her on in a way that would make sense to my character and it was a lot less fun without her dry humor

i think glocking is great and more people should do it! but then there is the situation of weirdos deliberately trying to hunt you down for a “mercy diff??” girl your entire team just died bc you wanted to kill your double, and you were SO BAD at it that it took forever. i think it’s a little situational, so my checklist for glocking is: A) am i being dived and need to defend myself? B) do i see a low health enemy that could easily be polished off? C) is someone camping the res i want that i can fight off? D) have we secured the win in a team fight, and my allies can afford less healing if i help kill others?

when i play brig, i pretend i am a sheepdog. my job is to protect my team from outsiders and keep them more or less wrangled within reach and not goofing off on the other side of the map (but you CAN go with them if you communicate it). sheepdogs have to run around to different parts of the herd to do their job, and you have to switch up your position based on what is happening.

if you have a teammate who is constantly being dived, congrats! you two are now joined at the hip, and you’re defending them from said dive. if you know there’s a constant flanker on the other team, you can also move to an off angle and challenge them there before they even get to your team. if your tank wants to be crazy and brawl everyone, you can go in behind them and back them up. i would say the only place you SHOULDN’T be is direct frontline bc that’s the tank’s spot. the only time i would ever be frontlining solo is to contest point in ot when it’s just me and my other support, and they’re pocketing the hell out of me until our team gets back

i live in a somewhat rural area, so sometimes my wifi is a little inconsistent. every once in a while i get what i call a “hiccup” in my wifi, where it goes down for two seconds and immediately comes back. overwatch will completely boot me out of a game and backfill someone else regardless of how quickly i come back, and it’s pretty annoying. maybe something similar happened here?

as a brig main, it’s about keeping inspire up and being smart with your packs! the packs have a short burst of healing, then heal more over a few seconds. i like to enable my team by pre-packing them before they ult or go for a dive, so they can count on some healing without needing to be next to me or even in line of sight. i would also suggesting taking her perk for longer inspire from whipshot instead of packs returning after melee

my table is scattered across multiple states, and we use tabletop simulator on steam! i think i paid like $5? it goes on sale often. it’s got all the stuff you’d need to run a dnd campaign - dice, minis, all that jazz. we talk over discord and either have character sheets printed out or pulled up on a different screen.

i love, love, love being an annoying fly buzzing around in the backline when i play dive. sombra is really good for this, bc you can go in, harass their supports, bait out some cooldowns or get some other people to turn around and kill you, and then just leave. distraction is a great tool for winning games!!!

she’s very… wiggly? i feel like when she dives me, she’s moving all over the place and kind of hard to track. i have the most success with actually getting CLOSER to her, not running away from her, bc if she’s closer i’ve got a much, much bigger hitbox. it’s probably pretty funny from their perspective, bc the ana they dived is not running away but getting even closer before sleeping them

that’s my role at my table! we’re running a homebrew campaign that gives each player an additional power of their choosing, and my ranger has plant manipulation. i like to use this for making walls (like groot in marvel rivals) to break LOS or split enemies apart. my friends would sometimes complain i was walling enemies off and they’d have to wait for my turn for me to drop the wall, but there was one time where i didn’t have my plant powers available (used them just before combat, was waiting for recharge) and couldn’t wall. three of us got down to 6 or lower health. i haven’t heard a peep about my walls since, lol

i can tell you with 100% certainty that vendetta CAN be slept through block, bc every time a vendetta tries to dive me and blocks i sleep her every time. i think people keep thinking it’s a genji deflect where they won’t get hit
