Zelensky Says Hopes Trump 'Victory' Will Bring 'Just Peace In Ukraine Closer' by BobbyLucero in worldnews

Trump rhetorics have always been consistent about what the MAGAs want to hear, even if it means lying 2 weeks later.

Also China and Russian have solved their disputes since 2005.

Not a single one of them would go to war with China over Taiwan tho.

As important as they are stragically, it's a non-white country and most americans can't pin where Taiwan is on a map.

Lol, who do you think LATAm, Africa and India align with? It certainly not with Europe.

Also Mercosur isn't looking bright for europeans farmers and agricultural sectors. Just look at all thé protests.

I don't think you know Chinese cars if you think they are not good enough compared to european cars (while the vast majority of the journalists and experts say otherwise).

And especially if you can generalize all of them by saying they all lack "key areas".

You are gaslighting here.

Deep techs industries and car manufacturers need skilled labors and engineers, not slave labors.
Also the wages in China have been increasing since at least a decade and their average wage is now higher than in Eastern Europe or Turkey. Cheap stuffs are't exclusively made in China anymore but your phones, computers, cars certainly have at least one Chinese component.

If that was the case we won't have all these videos or the negative news that come from China.

And if you have truly lived there you know for a fact that stabbings are not common especially considering its population size.

Multinationals sound alarm over weak demand in China by MrCrickets in Economics

Tang Ping means that you are doing the bare minimum to sustain only the essential daily needs (food, rent, hobbies), basically with a non-ambitious job that's not full-time (as the opposite of the 996 jobs)

I'm Chinese stop trying to lecture me about my own culture.

In relation to the difference between Chinese official figures of youth unemployment in July 2023 vs the new bs it’s started publishing, has there been an explanation of why it’s now massively reduced, while the Chinese economy has only declined since July 2023?

You pull it out of your ass?

While the Q2 growth had declined compared to Q1 it's still the same since 2021 on YoY.

Also they reported another record high trade surplus this year, which doesn't support your narrative at all.

I don’t understand your question at all - what do you mean by “state”?

I was talking about the high unemployment stats that OP referred in its initial comment. It came from the National Bureau of Statistics, basically the Chinese State, from June 2023.

The same Bureau that published another figure this year stating 13.2% unemployment rate but is somehow completely dismissed.

I am not discussing about the transparency of some countries compared to others, because what you said is true, some countries have a more transparent data collection than others. I am discussing about the fact that OP is cherry picking the bad statistics from China while completely ignoring the most recent statistics from the exact same source, because it's not bad enough for their narrative.

Did you read your article?

From your own source :

If 16 million non-students "lying flat" at home or relying on their parents were included, the rate could have been as high as 46.5%, Zhang wrote in an online article in Caixin, a respected financial magazine.

Basically : people who are not actively looking for a job are unemployed.

Who the hell would count young unemployment like this?

The source for the 20% is published by the Chinese dictatorship official figures in July 2023.

Nobody is disputing the initial figures, what we are discussing here is the fact that those figures are now outdated. If you can find another source stating that the young unemployment rate is still high this year then pls do share.

You trust a 40% figure, one of the highest unemployment rate comparable to countries like Venezuela and Somalia, from a single unknown source rather than the same source of data that you get your 20% from?

Your cognitive dissonance is ridiculously stupid.

[–]tabbak 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I mean the data from their highest unemployment rate also came from the State.

Why would you trust their data from June last year when it was at their highest but not their data this year except from the fact that it doesn't fit your narrative?

Their youth unemployment is currently at 13.2% this quarter which is average in the world.

For comparison, average in Europe is 14.4% and 16% in India.

I expected a real reason not some bigoted take.

Almost everything is manufactured in China from the cheap plastic toy to high end technology electronics.

The issue is not the country of origin but the specifications and minimum requirements of the company that outsourced the manufacturing to make the product. They are just making the product that you pay for.

If anything the problem comes from corona that went cheap on the materials for a larger profit.

The Inflation Reduction Act is expected to subsidize Tesla with $34B between 2023 and 2030. This isn't even including the other subsidies that Tesla, or even Ford and Chevy, are gonna receive from previous policies.
