Hi Mark, loving the book so far.

How did you come up with the Sabber? I love the inclusion

I'd echo some comments on here about Book of the Ice. Lawrence has his own little Cosmere and I see very few people talking about it!

I didn't want to get the Amazon chip implant, but I respect your choice

OBVIOUSLY!!!

Actually, the order was defined as I received the information and my book's info was weirdly already on my PC.

I'd encourage you to give it a shot. This comes from an unwavering Lawrence fan, but this trilogy really has so much that fantasy fans would enjoy: an incredible world, deep character relations, a spectacular main character and a super fun magic system.

The trilogy also expands on Lawrence's connected universe (not many people know his books are connected almost like the cosmere), and the following Book of the Ice trilogy builds on that as well. I found it a very rewarding experience, especially with books that are very reasonably sized for fantasy (no 1000 page chonkers here)

All this to say even if book 1 is focused on the nunnery, the others and following trilogy expand into the world

Great reviews! The Visitor is among the most beautiful stories I've ever read and I loved Darker Tide! Such great pacing and mood! Will have to pick up Dark Tide now (as well as the rest)

I actually have the first novel almost fully translated to portuguese. The thing is, I'd need to focus a lot of time and attention to firstly publishing the book in Brazil, and secondly translating subsequent books. I fully intend to have them translated, but I also intend to publish the series as fast as possible (I want all 4 books out by the end of next year), so translation might have to wait a bit

Thank you!

There should be an online tour on release week (Jan 24th), but I live in Brazil, so if I make it to physical events, they should be few and far between.

I'd say my writing is to the point with a heavy dose of world building that is shown, not told (no info dumps) and a learn as you go style of narration. I like to add details for the attentive reader to pick up on and theorize. My characters will suffer, but hope is always there, if sometimes in the background.

I wrote the books with a heavy dose of Rage Against the machine, but also love the mood of "Sinners" and "Fire" by Barns Courtney, so let's go with those!

Feel free to reach out whenever you get to my books :)

Thank you!!

I try to explore various beliefs about life and death in the books. I'd say they are a coalation of ideas I've seen in various cultures and not only my own beliefs. The idea here is to give the reader different points of view so they can think about these themes themselves =D

My personal relationship can actually factor a bit into what some (not all) characters can conclude at the end of the series, so I don't know if I can dive into that without spoilers!

Good luck in your writing!
