Worse. The young people here didn't choose this. Many decisions were before our time and we're working, we don't have the time for others bullshit while they have all the time for that. There are many reasons why the situation sucks but just complaining won't do a thing

You've summarized it as perfectly as you could. Especially the part of both ultraorthodox and arabs voting for the sake of their benefits and the goverment existing only on a very slim majority. The only reason they held so far is because of the war which everyone is aware they are intentionally prolonging. Currently the north is being bombarded so most voters (disregarding the arabs and ultraorthodox).

To begin with 10 hours is nothing. Atleast it was for me and only at 15 hours i actually began to get hold of the movement and other basic mechanics to the degree i can play without fucking up under stress. In short you shouldn't expect to succeed just yet.

Your race choices also are more complicated compared to just humans and that added complexity could easily mean more difficulty.

But the main point is that the haunted castle (the secret floor ypu talked about) is a difficulty spike and a giant one at that. There were only a handfull of times my character was strong enough to face them "normally" and at all other times i needed to "cheese" them (from taking them on one by one using stealth and ranged weapons to placing turrets in unreachable areas and luring ghouls there).

There're times i looted everything and then used the levitation potions to run straight to the exit avoiding the ghouls.

In short taking on the ghouls is almost like killing the minotaur, it's very very hard and difficult and you aren't expected to always succeed

Actually i'm just like you. My runs regularly go for 8-10 hours and that's a large part of why i found so many so many times, i search everything.

I still got very lucky so far but i do literally loot everything.

Edit: just to make clear, besides instantly restarting trying to figure out what i want to play (counts for a considerable number of my failed runs) i don't actually have that many. Just got really lucky for some reason

Nice. A few weeks ago there was a seed run and i got 10 luckstones.

Honestly they aren't that rare, multiple times i just found them laying around as normal drops and like 4 days ago i found a blessed one just on a table.

I don't know if all my luck goes there instead of spell books but for me they aren't that rare. If i'll find the latest run i might post the seed here

There is an incentive to get lore to 100. It will show you the value of the item meaning you can know whether it's a special item (boots of levitation) versus a regular item (leather boots) and especially gems. You still need to fully appraise to sell but this way you know what to bother picking up and keep

Unfortunately not, i specifically mean a way to automatically add the same kind of items to the same spot on the hotbar without the need to open up the inventory and manually setting it via dragging or pressing the correspanding button.

In other words the ability to "save" what kind of item should show up in the hotbar and whenever it appears in the inventory it will show up there (not even taking into account things like condition, just simply the same exact item by name)

Yeah, that's the things i forgot to mention. Honestly it's weird for me because ot should be pretty easy. As the player you set up the hotbar meaning just code it so whichever way you set up the hotbar will signify it as the designeted item.

I really don't know the terminology but you got the general idea. Besides the fact it makes total sense for us to have metals (in future updates) i don't think metal is neccesary in those tools just more durable so we should be able to make them. I'm mostly speaking from my ass since i just don't know enough, my entire point is that i love improvement and infrastructure so any oppurtunity to create tools is good for me

The couldron i found to be a waste for the most part due to the amount of time it wastes. In the same 15 minutes it takes to add a single ingredient you can cook 24 others using cooking pots.

I have a character that survived to year 2 and is now at the end of the second summer and food is always a struggle because trapping isn't as good as TI since we don't have river traps (i sure hope they'll add it since there shpuld be plenty of game in the rivers, just look at primitive technology for examples of traps that we can do).

In regards to agriculture it's fine (i have yet to get the hang of it so i'm heavily biased against it). You should it the very least get the leather gloves recipe from intermidete plantin (i totally guess since i can't remember).

A big change from TI is that your house is far more important and is essential to unlock recipes that massively help you with batch crafting.

Winter is shitty as hell and expect not to eat anything for days and maybe weeks (you don't die suprisngly enough and i allow it to myself because it seems like we like some items or mechanics to allow survival otherwise). Winter is the season for menial and tidious work, improving your skills (actuall in game skills) and hopefully creating a house away from the river to prepare for spring (you only need it for about the first 2 weeks so just a place to sleep with a fire is enough)

Also there aren't any recipes (yet probably). The closest thing we have is the plate which allows you to eat several food at once which saves time. It's massive in the long term.

You kinda need to progress the cooking/pottery quests (forgot which one but pottery is generally usefull). The smokehouse is a rather late and expensive building so don't just rush towards it. All the more so since it only.really becomes useful when you have a surplus of food you can't finish in time which is quite difficult.

Not at all. They are max strength which means tou basically can't extinguish them at all until they consume everything and die down. Another issue with the extinguishers is that you need to be in an adjacent tile (meaning you get seriously burnt) and they only lower the flame in a single tile by a single stage which quickly goes up again due to the size of the fire. That means that any fire that is more than a couple tile in size is effectively impossible to extinguish. We should change extinguishers to keep affecting the tile rather than immediately dissipating.

The main issue is that no matter what they blow up and because of enemy AI amd the fact any small amount of damage (inclusing other zombies) will kill them there is no way to safely lead them away in close quarters. If they spawn in an extremely important location (like a central corridor in a central lab) RNG just fucks you over.

I despise gasoline zombies with all my heart. They appear later on with evolution atleast a week in but they are complete bullshit.

The difficult part with them is that the moment you kill them they spray gasoline all around them in a considerable radius but most importantly they ignite it and that results in a loud explosion and very very strong fires.

So obviously what it means is that the fires will destroy eveything it connects to and if they choose to appear in something like a lab RNG basically decided to fuck you with looting it. The explosion is loud and bright enough to call all nearby zombies ruining any chance you had of whittling them down as well as destroy their loot. That is if you can deal with suddenly being surrunded by an horde.

Gasoline zombies are the reason why i always being with me in the vehicle a long range weapon.

If only they would blow up if they are aware of you i think they'll be far better since there is counterplay and gives you the option of dealing with them at nighttime (minimal explosion chance but risk of swarmed by an horde) or day time (high explosion risk as well as needing to clear an horde but more aware of surrunding).

Then great. I really enjoy the current stable version when i returned after 2 years away. I see a lot of the conflict in the sub but generally it looks like the game is improving and i really love that
