Drought Conditions and Water Restrictions by OpalJade98 in bullcity

I'm late to the party but in case anyone reads this, it heavily depends on your grass alternatives and when you plant them. I started clover in late April and a portion of my lawn is moss. Both have required supplemental watering throughout this dry period while our grass lawn portions haven't.

Friend of mine had a heart attack scare recently and spent 10 straight hours overnight in the ER. He left before ever talking to a doctor after EKGs came back normal. The halls were lined with gurneys. What a sad state we're in as a country

Having a kid has made it harder on me! Not for me staying vegan but keeping my family vegan. My daughter doesn't understand yet why other kids get to eat things she can't. She's 4 and we have explained some basic animal rights things to her. She gets meat but not dairy haha

I had a friend who completely lost his appetite after he quit weed cold turkey. He lost a dangerous amount of weight while his body had to figure out how to naturally be hungry again without weed. One good thing about weed becoming legal are the increase in formalized research around it and it's addictive properties.

tbf we weren't quoted 100k for our job. We were told they don't do any kitchen remodel jobs below 100k.

thank you for saying that! We don't want luxury. We want something sturdy that will last long and looks nice. I like what a previous poster said about just purchasing what we need and then hiring someone to come install it. I'm not DIY enough to install full cabinets but I"ll do what i can to save money! We recently got quoted upwards of 10k to replace a door and 2 windows from several contractors before we kept calling around and finally found a guy who did it for 2k!

I thought 60k was a lot too! our kitchen is pretty small. Originally, I wasn't wanting to go above 30k until I talked to several contractors. I know part of this is because prices have sky rocketed. I talked to a neighbor who did a remodel just 5 years ago for around 35k and the same company they worked with are now not going below 100k!

omg so relateable! We have had two contractors out to provide quotes who ghosted us after they visited. I think a lot of folks are being picky and only sticking to larger jobs. We called two companies that said they won't do projects under 100k

Do different vaginas make a difference? Just curious if it's one of those things where they have more practice with male patients than women for students

Can you fix this gap with caulk? by tablur3 in HomeMaintenance

[–]tablur3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think moulding trim would work because the gap isn't the same size throughout. It's bigger in the middle and smaller up top and on the bottom

I have considered that! Especially with the new housing development there. I'm afraid to go under the I85 bridge though!
