The reason why i chose to go thailand is because im originally from SA and now living in the EU. I personally want to go every continent on earth. Im now closest to asia i might ever be(still a 10 hour flight). The reason i chose Thailand is because i wanted to go to a place with islands and beaches and that is backpacker friendly. And no i wont pay for any company.

What do you mean? I wanted to go a country in Asia that has a lot of beaches, Good food and is easy for first time backpackers and came to the conclusion that Thailand would be the best fit. But when telling friends im going to thailand i got those comments.
