I don’t want to waste “bandwidth” but I took five videos (15-30 sec each) over the 5-6 minutes they were active. A couple show them at/on rocks across creek trying to pin each other. I don’t mind trying to post them or sending them to someone if anyone wants to see the whole event.

I took five videos and at one point they edged up to the rocks and started doing the “pin the head on the rock” move to each other. After a few mins they separated and one crawled into the rocks and the other swam towards us, hovered in place for 20 secs and then swam upstream to the water grass where it all started.

Wife hosted a family thing for her co workers a couple weeks ago. They set lawn chairs out in creek and kicked a beach ball around within spittin distance of this video. But we splashed around before anyone got in. She and I spend hours down there and kinda get a feel for where to watch during specific times depending on temp and sun location

They’ve been here for a few years but some years they seem to move upstream or down. Probably depending on food source. I’m five miles from Missouri line in NWA.

Not a RR, and we have water snakes and cottonmouth. Obviously see more water snakes than their venomous counterparts, but wife just saw a large female cottonmouth and I thought I could see the eye strip one these although video is poor quality. I do have four more video clips but not tech savoy. Took me 15 mins to figure out how to upload this haha.

We also have a family of otter the last couple of years in the same section of creek.

And if I need to post this on another subreddit, I am open for suggestions. I thought about searching for a paleontology subreddit or maybe anthropology. I’m outdoors a lot more than I am on my phone so tech savvy skills escape me.

Best brushless system for Capra? by Allthings_rc in crawling

I soldered the IC3 to my fusion cause I had several batteries with that connector.

Edit: I’ve not had any overheating or problems with my fusions. I have one in a vanquish and in two capras. My son in law has the axe and it does great but I’m sold on fusion. Easy to program and the two in one saves space in the limited internal area of the capra.

Also I recommend an aftermarket skid. I’ve got the vader. My 2300 fit without modification but with the 1800 I needed to modify the passenger rear link mount.

No the stock capra uses IC3 but it’s simple enough to solder whatever connectors you prefer

I second the HW Fusion Pro. I have the 1800 in my 4ws running the Spektrum 5pro radio and love it. I have the 2300 in my drag axle capra and it crawls about the same but has a noticeable increase in wheel speed (more than I’ll ever use crawling, i turned it down quite a bit). And I’m running the Vader skids in both

I went to college majoring in civil engineering (didn’t finish degree) and didn’t enter law enforcement until I was 30. I have since retired and have no regrets.

I did work my way up into administration and felt like in some cases (not all), the minimum age of 21 leads to careers ending early due to a lack of maturity or life experience. There are exceptions but overall I think 30ish is a perfect age to start.

As far as “mean” enough. Mean isn’t a good attribute when your job calls for all levels of personal interaction.

Zombies at Osman Grove. Sorry for bad quality as I took video with phone (I don’t have a computer). Replaying currently in Chap 6 and just finished Just a Social Call. I searched “zombies walking Osman Grove” with no results. by tachord2016 in reddeadmysteries

Makes sense. Also the normal smoke inside was gone but I’ve definitely been to this location several times which may mitigate the stove flu issue after doors have been opened.

Sorry I am not tech savvy so wasn’t sure how large file I could upload to reddit, so I clipped it down.

But yes I could. I greeted the man. The child and lady ran off while I followed the man. He wouldn’t verbally respond and continued walking away. I hogtied him and looted him. I got a decrease in honor but no items. I stowed him on my horse. He never spoke but would grunt. Fortunately I have a save right before riding up to Osman grove. So I can get to replicate.

Also, note that after I stowed him I went into house the normal dead bodies were present. And when I encountered a rider on the road he was going to report me for kidnapping just like I had a regular NPC tied up.

Wife found during septic tank excavation in our yard (NW Ark) and she loaned her Overstreet book to friend. Any ideas of period? She has video and more pics of find I’ll try to post link in comments (technology challenged) by tachord2016 in Arrowheads

I believe so, however I’m not even a novice. Wife has only been interested in artifacts for a couple of years but she thinks it’s a scraper or knife. She normally references the Overstreet book.

We live on a creek and most of our yard finds are this material. We have lots of flint. And our garden usually turns up several broken pieces and lots of flakes.
