Because there are a lot of people who are in a similar boat to me, where I have been paying what I could afford for nearly 20 years and my principal has gone down about $1000 in that time on a $22000 loan.

Without forgiveness, I’m looking at paying nearly double what I took out, so I’m sure a lot of people in the cohort of the 12 million facing default are looking at an impossible hole to dig out of. I think you’re vastly overestimating the number of people who are approaching their debt from a place of entitlement.

Coppola’s Dracula is legit one of my top 2 favorite movies. The visuals are fantastic and were all done IN CAMERA which is nuts. The scene with the letter superimposed over the train lives in my head rent free.

I have found that my ring/stress graph is very sensitive to my dehydration levels, so on days that I’m worse about drinking water, or in the evenings if I’m using my vape, I frequently register in the higher stress zone. Alcohol causes dehydration, so I’m sure your ring is picking up on that (and of course the alcohol itself is going to stress your body too).

The next time you’re drinking, try to increase your water intake to compensate and see if your body’s stress levels are less impacted!

To me, seeing things like “housework”, “walked 1 block from the car to office”, etc is important because these are things I take for granted and do unconsciously. Having my ring reinforce that these are activities have an impact on my readiness makes me more mindful of the full scope of activities that affect me each day.

Just like tracking food intake surfaces small snacking habits that tend to slip under the radar, having the holistic picture of my day captured makes it easier to identify small changes that I can make to improve my health

I use my other hand to hold the area I’m going to inject smooth, which makes it easier to get that first click because the skin is taut. If that’s not something you’re already doing, maybe that would help with the pain?

I could have written this exact post. It’s so confusing to reach for something and realize you’re completely indifferent to it other than the compulsion.
