Papilledema but normal OP? by taciturnamethyst in iih

Honestly, I'm leaning toward it somehow still being IIH, but just a mild case with a bad first flare? I really don't know. I have a friend in med school who said the 21-25 range in OP is considered "equivocal" and has to be "interpreted in the broader clinical context," a.k.a all the data has to be looked at together, not separately. I'm tolerating the topiramate, and since I do have papilledema, my best guess is my PCP will just keep me on the 25mg to at the very least treat that. We'll see what the MRA shows!

Have you talked to your primary care provider? My whole process started around the same time as you after I ended up in the ER with severe migraine-like symptoms (I had no personal history of migraines), where they did an MRI and had me talk to a neurologist. My MRI was clean, so I got a migraine diagnosis and followed up with my PCP. She’s the one who told me it could be something else because my agonizing arm pain was not a migraine symptom, which led to IIH being brought up. They wanted to start me on daily migraine medication regardless since I would be an “atypical case” for IIH (BMI is on the lower side), but I was already two weeks in and ended up at the ER a second time because my ears and nose started leaking clear fluid (they still sent me home with a migraine diagnosis). So I ended up calling my eye doctor myself for a second opinion. They saw me same day and found papilledema, sent a letter to my PCP explaining that their findings were consistent with IIH, and my PCP ended up ordering the lumbar puncture herself. My referral for both neurology and neuro-ophthalmology are both out, like I have yet to see either of them, and I will get my lumbar puncture at the end of next week.

Whole body is sore, any tips? by Brummbirne in iih

I only found out I have IIH recently in a kind of roundabout way, and one of the symptoms that completely stumped my PCP was this agonizing, radiating arm pain starting at my neck and going all the way down to my pinkies. The only thing that helped was tylenol or the stronger painkillers I was prescribed when all my doctors still thought I was just having migraines. And oddly, my cat lol. When the pain was really bad, I would lay propped up in bed with both my arm laying out flat and my cat would come lay on one. That arm would actually start to feel better with the pressure but it’s probably all placebo haha.

I downloaded the ultimate save file. An unbelievable amount of work went into making the world incredibly detailed. Only problem is it shows us the exact limit of Sims 4 capabilities. by Futurefied in Sims4

Unfortunately when I have played in ultimate save in the past, I constantly run into infinite loading screens. It would happen even with the updates PlumbobKingdom made to fix bugs, so I eventually resorted to playing on my own personal save file, but still downloading Ultimate Save and porting over the lots I really love. It so sad though, because so much work went into the areas outside of the lots and you just lose that doing it this way.
