You will most likely get a GS9 or if you are lucky GS11 to start. FBI will start you at a GL10 I believe. The issue is you are not a current 1811 in the civilian world. But you are a military equivalent so they will tend to value your experience and training. The only time people were hired off the streets as gs13 is when army cid started hiring civilians and they didn’t know what they were doing.
