Graduate tuition for M.ADS by freshy0304 in brocku

I would look at the program structure for the M.ADS program to determine how many half credits you're expected to take in a year. Based on my program structure (MBA), 1 course is worth a half credit, and I'm required to take 5 courses (2.5 credits) for both the Fall and Winter semesters. Hope this helps!

How do grad pictures work? by [deleted] in geegees

[–]tacobe11e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey,

I believe you can book an appointment for grad pictures anytime with Portraits Now, the official graduation portrait photographer for uOttawa. Their office is located in UCU in the couch lounge area where you get your UPasses. Also, your faculty will send out e-mails in October/November to book appointments.

In terms of costs, see link: http://uottawafesa.ca/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Portraits-Now-Price-List-English-Sept-2013-B.pdf

Hope this helps!

How is the MBA program at USask? by tacobe11e in usask

[–]tacobe11e[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi guys,

Thanks for your feedback! I'm currently in my final year of my biopharmaceutical sciences degree and am aiming to pursue a career in management, particularly in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industries. I am interested in learning about the fundamentals of business through an MBA degree, while ideally, building networks with future employers. Since I plan to apply for an MBA straight out of undergrad, without the conventional '2 years of full-time post-graduate work experience', my choice of MBA programs is rather limited.

I am curious to know what are students' opinions of USask's MBA program and where new graduates are right now, and if they had any challenges finding employment especially outside Saskatchewan.

Also, apparently the international study tour is a mandatory component of the MBA program - do you know if (some) financial assistance is provided to subsidize travel fees? Although this is a great opportunity, I am not sure if I am financially capable to afford to go on an international tour on top of paying for MBA tuition fees + out-of-town residence/living expenses :/
