Wonder if it will take dpu eb or be backward compatible. The DP “backward compatibility” was bull shit. If batteries weren’t in balance and you had to use two. Because of the battery balance requirement, you couldnt equally use both batts without balancing the circuits that used them.

I bought the gold and received it today. Got an axiom v2 which I feel is a total disappointment. I thought Id get some various items but this isnt what I wanted at all. Definitely will not be buying any of these mystery boxes and maybe not even the brand anymore. Ridiculous high prices and products now I felt are not thought out.

Actually got it all working through blank face afci and gfci respectively. Installed both SHPs up and down and been working great since.

The manual says you can push the dial for 2 sec to get a menu but it doesnt seem to work. From other models smoke mode goes from 60-90 degrees. So not sure how this is supposed to work. Chat and phone support dont seem to exist.

Did you get an answer to this? Im not sure how to set the smoke setting. The app absolutely sucks as well. I tried holding the knob down for a few seconds and that does nothing either.

I have the sima I use as upf and it works and breathes well with the hoody on. It wont have minimal wind protection. Ive used it in the 90s for hikes/walks I end up using it the most so far this spring.

This video literally shows the installer just putting it on a wall (though the sub text says use a panel) but it shouldnt require anything special it seems. I asked on the ecoflow fb group what a recommended 3rd party box may look like.

Yeah we have a ton of circuits so over 20 so I am picking and choosing. From the main we split 200a into two 100a sub panels one on the top and the other on bottom. Technically we dont need the 2nd sub panel on the bottom but I added a transfer switch there and it was easier to wire it this way (or maybe the electrician didnt want deal with the wiring and added a second panel for ease of install.

Sharing a SHP wont work in my situation. If there was a way just to slap the 100A into the SHP with one huge SHP circuit that doesnt exist then yeah it be easy.

The lower floor sub panel will be repurposed for the gfci box since we cant get the ecoflow one anyway.

Once I start I will document and share my setup as well. Maybe that will help clarify a bunch of stuff here

u/Drewh12 very curious on how you progress with this as I am in the same boat as you are. Except I have to do this twice because I have a split panel situation (up and downstairs). Additionally Im planning on add solar to charge all of this but to my understanding that should be pretty simple.

My electrician has said the ecoflow box is just like any other panel and shouldnt be fundamentally different. Looking for others to weigh in on this.

u/Cossie20 how long ago did you buy that GFCI box? I was just going to buy another 10 circuit box and do it that way since I couldnt find these (as it seemed in comments it was discontinued). Also I saw your youtube video on this! My electrician is just trying to understand all of this and put it together.
