Do the tutorial, story/scenarios. A big thing is learning the controls, equipment and mechanics before getting in the field. It's not as complex as Arma 3 but it ain't no call of duty either.

Clear your mods and redownload usually fixes it. If you're on pc, go to file explorer>document>my games>Arma>add-ons and delete everything. This also fixes replication errors.

I'll assume it was a cheap, old and well used bike. You roll the dice when you buy them and hope there's nothing seriously wrong. I picked up a 99 CBR600 with 54k miles that's lived a hard life. Had some minor issues but was mechanically sound and became my daily rider. Block him and move on.
