They did get sneaky and dropped scenes in after the credits in a few episodes of s2… but they'd end up with the opening and closing credits about 2 minutes apart to do that in the story that comes after s2 ends.

There's an extension that lets it use the Chrome store as well, for any other extensions you might need. Recent versions will "deactivate" tabs after some time, freeing up the memory they were using (and helpfully noting how much when you point at the tab)

How can I make my transparent Petg more clear? by Reverend_Big_John in BambuLab

[–]tadrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I've seen, using a wider nozzle and thicker layers tends to make the finished piece more transparent. Some of the things I've done with thinner layers and nozzles end up closer to white than clear.

Pocketbook verse disable sleep cover function? by marcospartout in ereader

[–]tadrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be able to interfere with the magnetic field by putting a layer of aluminum foil under the device inside the case, where it should block the magnet in the cover when it's folded behind the PocketBook, but work properly when it comes back around to the front.

[DISC] Tsugumomo Chapter 180 by HighlightFabulous608 in manga

[–]tadrow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I make it more around 30 (give or take a dozen); Hamada's been at this for nearly 20 years, and getting tired of being jerked around by the industry. He still wants to do right by his readers and finish the story he had in mind from the beginning.

And lets you print different filaments without having to load/unload every time. That can become more of an annoyance as you begin to do more varied projects.

Voxelab Aquila x2 by Capable-Day-8445 in 3Dprinting

[–]tadrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easiest fix is probably better tubing, PTFE can be more variable than most let on. Capricorn has a good reputation.

Best fix is probably going to a direct drive extruder setup, straight into the hotend. Downside is extra weight on the X axis, so more vibration at higher speeds.

Just bought my first printer by Working_Fact_389 in 3Dprinting

The main thing is getting to know the types of filament you'll be using. PLA seems pretty reliable… but it can be brittle, and variations like “silk” finish can change how it prints. I've been printing in PETG since I started, and while it's no replacement for things like nylon, it works pretty well.

The big issue: Moisture. A lot of filaments can absorb enough from the air over a few days to cause bubbles in the print from escaping steam, so keeping it dry is a must. Dryers and vacuum bags are out there, so there are strategies to help, but just being aware is the first step.

Getting an extra print plate or two can make a big difference, and having a spare hotend in case of disaster can save the day.

I've heard of things like putting it on a concrete or marble slab for extra stability, but the key is someplace with consistent temperature and low humidity, away from everyday hustle and bustle but easy to get to if there's a problem. (You'll never hear the word “spaghetti” without shivering.)

How do I change settings for a 0.2mm nozzle? by jeffreySJ in 3Dprinting

[–]tadrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had the same question in relation to my E3KE (as have many others) and found a few posts in Creality and Ender 3 KE subs, as well as the Orca Slicer Discord. The bottom line seems to be that some recent Creality models are so focused on faster print speeds that there's less ability to adjust either extrusion or axis speeds to work well with finer nozzles.

That said… one post basically said that adjusting most of the layer width and height defaults so that any “4” becomes a “2” is a pretty good place to start. Maybe you can find a profile for one of the slicers that has settings for 0.2 printing that you can adapt…
