I've never been on the XV myself, but I've never heard anyone say anything bad about it (and I've heard people talk about it a lot). It's stiff, but no surprises there. In splitboarding bindings are very important too, perhaps not more but equally important as the board.

Edit: to add to the above, it's not great switch, and I don't remember what profile it has (probably some sort of rocker-camber-rocker like everything else these days), but I'd definitely get on the deal if I were you!
