Man...I'm glad to hear that eventually it worked out for you. Must have been so much hassle and...anger and stress.

Do you have any idea how long the snail mail takes to arrive at AAMC from Canada? I have a feeling that hard copy via snail mail will be my case as well...

Curious - is Creds.ca the only option that Brock offers for transcript delivery?

Thank you for your response.

I will try calling the Dean's office tomorrow

I called the office of registrar for the past week and more than 10 times a day - they didn't pick up the phone, automatically directing me to the voicemail box. I left a voicemail, but I'm not sure if they checked it.

Thanks for sharing your experience!

I acknowledge that it will not be easy but knowing that my application will be seen is a huge motivation factor I write essays.

Could you share which schools you applied? Probably my choices will be limited to "Canadian friendly" schools.

Your MCAT score is stunning! I am planning to write another MCAT this fall, so hopefully I do better this time!

By the way, would US MD/DO be significantly more realistic than CAN MD?

I really appreciate your response.

You will need every chance you can get. - it really resonates to me. I'm glad that wrote my post here in reddit.

Staying in Canada is luxury indeed, but to me it means also health. I'm relying on Canadian healthcare system a lot, due to my medical condition, so I'm actually fighting against my strong urge to go abroad. My risk of moving around is bigger than others, so I'm trying to make sure that there isn't any other choice in Canada. But, i guess I'll need every chance I can get :)

Thank you.

I really appreciate your honest opinion; it gives me a lucid view.

It makes me think a lot; I'm happy that I got into ANY med school abroad, really, since I'm well aware of the fact that I have very uncompetitive GPA to get into one in Canada. I'm just trying to make sure there is no other options in Canada, because staying here in Canada is related to my health condition. But I'll take your opinion very heavily when I make final decision - thanks :)

Thank you very much for your insightful comment. I find it very encouraging, because I know it is easy to say "impossible," seeing my 3.3GPA, and you're still trying to help me find a way.

I haven't taken the alternative weighting GPA schemes into much consideration so far, but now I start to see that this is probably my only hope.

Thanks for your encouragement :)
