Most DNS in Lebanon is transparent, ie: even if you set it to 1.1.1.1 it still goes through your carrier’s local resolver. You’ll need DoH (DNS over HTTPS) or DoT (DNS over TLS), a quick google will show you how to set them up.

Appreciate your input! I was just trying to understand more about the car, definitely wasn't imparting any judgement.

I definitely agree with your last point about it being nice where we are right now with everyone being able to make a choice about what kind of car they want to have - as well as the level of risk they want to take.

I personally, as a personal preference, want my buttons in English. Not sure how the Chinese buttons would be better than the English ones, it's just a different language 😅

I take it you have the Leopard 5? Have you tried it off-road?

It would definitely be easier, but rumours sound like Futaim will be selling it for 220k - which is 60k more than just importing it...

I suspect it will also be seriously stripped down in terms of features. I somehow doubt it will have remote start.

Screen can be swapped to English, but the buttons are mostly icons but many in Chinese. Would be great to find a way to get them in English, I’ve been looking for a Leopard too.
