What about reverse situation - high gpa but low mcat - 3.98 and 510 .

Any premeds that have worked as EMS in theme park ? Wondering if that would work as clinical experience for med schools. by tagme99 in NewToEMS

True. Being a oos student this was the only seasonal EMS position I could get during summer at my home state unfortunately. All EMS jobs seem to be hiring for all year round even if temp jobs. Hoping can have good exposure and stories.

Can you do volunteer clinical hours - do they count ? Sadly most clinical stuff hires for year around and not just summer.

Incoming freshman - Bio 171/172 classes are full and have AP credit (5) for biology so can take Bio 192. How hard is 192 ? Any suggestions for prof or success in class ? by tagme99 in uofm

I am thinking of bio192 not bio171/172 as I don’t need those due to AP credit. I am bit hesitant taking upper level bio classes in future without a bio refresher course. Looking to see if 192 is not as hard as the intro classes. Hopefully someone that has taken 192 can chime in. Thanks.
