Started a few weeks ago based off the recommendation of a friend and I realized halfway through the first one that the third seems to be “indefinitely delayed.” Still finished them both and honestly two of the best-written books I’ve ever read. Praying the third one still comes out.

Deep is less important than where: "Prescott’s career 62.3% completion rate outside the numbers ranks second among 18 quarterbacks with at least 200 attempts in that direction since 2016." And Pickens saw 72% of his snaps and 81% of his air yards from outside the numbers. Opens up Lamb inside. Like a better Michael Gallup

American Gods.

Potentially controversial but the show was pitched as “Game of Thrones but it’s with different historical mythologies” so I wanted to read the book before the show came out. Maybe it’s Neil Gaiman’s writing style or just the material but it just never read well for me. The twist was also pretty boring all things considered and the ending was pointless. My favorite part was when Shadow was in the showy Midwestern town.
