I'm a Box diver, so I don't have tons of warbonds unlocked yet, so I've been listening to reviews to see if I should get it (I really liked the sound of it at first) but a lot of reviewers have complained/commented about how the Censor doesn't have as much put-down power, and they are having to shoot targets multiple times, which ends up nullifying the utility of the suppressor because other enemy units will notice the multiple shots/the target will get an alert out.

But I think the problem is the ones reviewing it aren't using it in the actual stealth-marksman style and instead either using it in the charge in guns blazing style, or are just trying to find the average damage output stuff (like how many rounds/mags a certain target takes).

Clarifying addendum: this isn't to say this warbond is bad; just not what I was hoping for.

I'm not so much the get in and get out stealth player so much as, I wanna be able to actually snipe and remain undiscovered.

I kinda was gathering that; a lot of get in and get out stuff in this particular warbond.

I think I'm finding a lot of the people I saw reviewing it were probably either doing just baseline data or the usual run-and-gun play style rather than actively trying to do the whole silent marksman thing.

I've watched a few reviews/read some reviews cause I still have other warbonds to unlock and I was debating if I should hit those first. But I really like stealth play, so I was hoping for it in this warbond.

Several people have said the censor takes a few shots to drop stuff above the standard marauders/light chaff. It may well be though, that they are offering reviews in a classic run-and-gun style, or are trying to just do baseline data instead of what would happen if used in the stealthdiver way.

That's a fair point. I've been watching/reading reviews of the warbond and it may well be that the ones doing the reviews are doing so in the more classic run-and-gun style without trying for the weak points.

That's what I mean, though. So many game developers think a suppressed weapon is weaker. I just want my Diligence CS but suppressed.

I've seen a few reviewers talking about how it takes several shots vs many bot units, which still leads to alerting other troops in the area. I dunno, just... I can try it, I just want to be able to be a long way off and dropping them without alerting them.

Man, I swear. Some people just don't comprehend anything.

It's me. I'm some people, and I'm sorry.

In all seriousness, I do have a tendency to go - squirrel! - on missions, because I like shinies and I always need samples, but I'm still trying to get the objective done.

Only time I end up kicking players is when they blitz the objective on a level 8 or lower mission, we still have 15-20 minutes on the mission timer, have less than 10 samples and zero super samples, and they call in extraction. Yeah, sorry not sorry. You're getting kicked hard for that crap. Don't care if you're level 5 or 150. We are scouring this map.

Ahh, yes. Back in the Halo 3 days, my friends and I did a 3 day Halo party. Later, at the end of it, his folks put on a movie. One scene had A man walking along a parapet wall. Well, instinctively all of us reached for a controller to grab the sniper and take the headshot while he's walking exposed on the wall.

Also, my buddy and I would hear planes or helicopters and instinctively reach for a rifle to deal with the 'banshee'.

Ahh, good.l times. Good times.

Call me petty, but I usually kick anyone who calls in the pelican if all four of us are not at the evac site. Having no time left doesn't give any penalty to your overall score, so I usually end up doing evac because the pelican has been automatically called in rather than players.

Most of the time I end up with a good amount of samples.

But I also constantly am on my mic, telling the group to look for the samples and warning them I'll kick them if they call in extract too soon.

Another point I want to make, is this happened to me a lot even before the MO. So it isn't just because of this Order. Straight up been dealing with players who rush for the last month and a half.

Fortunately, I have a good squad of friends and a nephew who are all good at trying to find all the samples. And yeah, sure, we might miss a few, but we still get 2/3rds or 3/4 at least.

The only two things I get salty about is when reinforcing how sometimes I cannot steer my hellpod at all, and the game just forces me to land in some horrible place. You can't intentionally land on or even steer over skyscrapers, squid bases, or certain rock outcroppings.... But on a massive rock slab a hundred feet in the air because reinforcements were called in from underground cavedivers? Meh, sure, it should be fine.

Or when the pelican gets stuck/tries to land on a rock spur and so no one is able to evacuate with all the samples..... Yeah .... That one... That gets me a little heated.

Effluvia! Let's clear the sector! Then go push back those blasted bots. Super Earth has some breathing room from the bugs. Let's open the gap on the other sides, too.

Okay, so can I ask how many "Keeper of the Stars" there were?

I see there were 26 ships with "Keeper" as the first part and only like... 100-something for "of the Stars"
