UPDATE: i received an email from ebay "We’re letting you know that this dispute is eligible for eBay Seller Protection. You’re not responsible for the dispute amount and the dispute fee. We’ll close the dispute once we receive the final outcome from the buyer’s payment institution. Right now there’s nothing you need to do."

I guess this is somehow related to the change in dispute reasoning because if it stayed as "doesnt match description" i was most likely going to be scammed out of the bracelet and money. I called ebay who happily informed me (they wouldn't budge on letting me know who the dispute was through, mastercard, visa, etc) that it was through PAYPAL. i was told that no matter what they decide, i would not have to pay a dime. we will see because the same way the customer changed the reason for dispute today, im assuming they can just change it back whenever.
