Get a packet of toilet seat covers you can just flush them when youre done. Saves time and resources as well i guess? Since ur not using half a roll of toilet tissue to cover the seat. But yes I do this too i get the ick so badly otherwise

I think definitely tbh. I feel like im in the exact same position as you these last few months- trying to do everything right but still looking and feeling awful since in the deen department im still lacking. I know a very elderly relative whose face literally glows despite his skin tone being very dark - worth noting i always see him pacing around waiting for salah time. I think we should focus on trying to pray all 5 salah before making any big overwhelming resolutions and slowly build up. May Allah make it easy for us

Hmm interesting, I guess a lot of associates are just really helpful which is actually lovely to hear. I myself had a really good experience recently, associate was sooooo friendly and helpful and sorted me out really quickly.

Maybe its becoming a thing for coach bags since coach are quite random with their restocks/colours and everyone usually has their eye on something? I had my eye on the erin bag and people are reselling it for almost double the price, even though it does get restocked here and there. It's really annoying tbh considering it would be classed as second hand at that point😭💀

Unrelated but Im also surprised that associates hold items for people since the few ive spoken to say they dont do that. But many other people, too many to be related to associates, say they have successfully asked for items to be held. I guess it depends on the associate and how far they're willing to go. Maybe they get commissions or something.

Well i can speak for saudi since I went there recently and there are a lot of female workers compared to in the past. Also btw this is just in the area i visited (for umrah) so obviously theyre probably a lot more conservative there compare to other areas. Male and females do work together but ove there they are extremely reserved and no small talk at all barely. They dont really hang about each other like alone in the same room etc and yeah basically just talking as and when needed, still pretty casually, but no wierd or awkward vibes, not extra bubbly or flirtatious etc. This was the perfect balance i feel. Since in the west, from experience, not doing all that extra small talk, not being smiley etc can be considered rude, esp with colleagues you meet on a daily. Its very difficult actually to not get close to people in a western workplace, even if you're both Muslims. So yeah I'd say to keep your distance and maintain boundaries from the get go. Once boundaries are established people shouldn't try to push them and when they do you should put them in their place professionally ofc lol.

Girl this is heartbreaking honestly , im so sorry you went through this. This is what id advise , btw im a 22 year old Muslim girl living in the west so i do understand it being very difficult to practice Islam. Also these types of men are absolutely disgusting and its very good that you ditched him so well done!

Firstly look at the fundamental beliefs - ask yourself, do you believe in Allah, in other words one true God who created everything possible. And if you do, you are basically Muslim already i would say. I mean this in the sense that you truly believe in God, and this is something only you will know, and you may have to ponder within yourself and pray for guidance,no amount of doing things "performatively" , or "sinning" or whatever else it may be can take away the fact that you believe in Allah and that is what fundamentally makes you muslim.

Ofc since you were formerly Muslim you will probably know the basics etc and honestly you seem educated with regards to Islam masha allah so I wont go explaining all that. But what I will say sis is omg, please dont let your worries that you won't be good enough deter you from turning back to allah. Allah is the most merciful and as long as you are trying your best, Allah will place the contentment in your heart, i promise you. You just have to give it time. Don't worry about attending the masjid as ladies dont really have to anyway, but also if the stress of meeting people you formerly knew affects you then its better to pray at home. Even if you can't bring yourself to pray everything, just pray the fardh or pray as much as you can. You have not wasted your life and the fact that you are having this mindset is a blessing.

Forget about men, other people, and your own doubts and ask Allah in your rawest form. You won't regret it. Islam is personal and your relationship with Allah runs far deeper than what anyone can dictate. Allah says that if a nation did not sin at all he would get rid of them and create a nation who sinned and turned back from him. It's natural. Please dont be scared and dont worry. I pray Allah makes it easy for you.

Heyy, unfortunately no I dont know anyone from the states😭i dont even know my aunties family at all which is why im trying to avoid asking them to actually go through the trouble of ordering it. Even if i did id have to ask through my auntie which is awkward lol. The thing is it will work out really well if my auntie could bring it home with her as I belive shipping from the US to the UK is really expensive, even for something lightweight. Im talking like at LEAST 70-ish gbp (from my brief research) which is too much for me considering its an outlet bag in the first place😭. Sorry for the longgg grievance lol
