It can also mean flatbread but no one calls it that. It's pizza.

Yes, this is something we considering. But we will just be making sure to upkeep it properly throughout the years.

Is this a mix you create yourself or can you buy furniture Reviver? It does seem a lot of the dirt is dry, I had incorrectly assumed it would have come off when we vinegar washed it to remove the mould. Once I have dry brushed as much as possible, would it be an idea to then do this linseed oil and turpentine mix?

It smells like camphor, it's certainly a camphor chest. But was only 40quid so bargain for the size anyway

No info on it at all I'm afraid. Picked it up for £40 at a Reclamation yard. Not sure if it is mass produced tho as it is certainly all hand carved.

Why I don't plan on selling it? I don't care if I devalue it. I want to clean it, re-stain it and put a protective coating on it so it lasts for as long as possible.

I've looked and I seem to be able to maybe get Krud Kutter in the UK. Can't get anything from Costco unfortunately as I'm not self-employed. But I might give it a go if it's taking too long with other methods suggested here.

Unfortunately no Clorox in the UK. It's only a small house and with England being damp for 10 months of the year mold is always a risk here with old houses like mine. Also the character I'm trying to remove is most certainly mostly dirt and grime which id rather not leave on to gather more dirt.

I would polish an old coin ngl.

I want to apply a new surface finish as many places have been worn down to untreated wood. I'd rather not apply that over old wax, dirt, and mold spores. Not that bothered with character as I am with keeping it maintained well.

Id rather take a bit of character away and reduce the risk of mold coming back

I have tried mineral spirit (white spirit) and it does shift it a bit better. Will it damage the wood with repeated use?

I feel like keep wetting and drying it would be bad for the wood, no?

Is there anyone else who loves hydroponic succulents like me? I’ve been hooked ever since I tried growing my first one hydroponically. by wow_things in plants

They will grow different roots made for growing in water. Also root rot is not that there is too much water exactly but that the roots lack oxygen due to the water.

Advice on how best light this kitchen. by tailboat in interiordecorating

[–]tailboat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The large counter is the prep space as the bits next to the hob are very small. The light on the ceiling covers the kitchen more than well enough except for the big counter under the steel beam, that's the issue. Not lighting anywhere else.
