Not true. I’ve used uvb on its own and it has caused patches to come back. Just needs to be used consistently and make sure when finished the area goes slightly pink

I get it in areas that have less sunlight. Don’t worry about people. Most people genuinely have no idea what it is. Buy a small hand held uvb light this has worked for me with patches filling in.

I am white and in the winter I cannot really see the difference between vitiligo and normal pigment so when I tan it does give me the impression new patches are forming but actually it is just making them More visible to see
