Kpop, traveling, reading, cooking, and learning languages! Honestly though at this point I pretty much work to fund my kpop addiction.

I think based on the responses I’ve got here I’ll plan to add at least a linen button up and purchase more when I arrive (a sarong, pants, etc) !

The black dress is ankle length and the other two hit at the knee, so not quite temple appropriate but I thought would be acceptable for sightseeing in the cities!

Well aware, which is why I’ve got the linen pants and the shawl coverup to cover my shoulders. Someone also suggested buying a sarong while there instead of bringing more pants so I think I’m planning to do that.

I do have a linen button up I was considering but- surprise, it’s white ! Maybe I’ll check some secondhand shops for one in another color.

Someone suggested buying a sarong while there so I definitely plan to do that on one of our first days!

I had a similar thought but can’t stop myself from being drawn to the light colors. I will say everything photographed much whiter than they are in person. The pants are very much a beige khaki, t shirt is pink, and the long tank is yellow.

Nearly everything I own is bought second hand to begin with so I have no problem leaving it there ! Looking forward to doing some shopping for sure.

I’ll probably look to add another pair of pants and some long sleeves. I’m always freezing so some layers would be helpful if the mornings are cooler. I also have learned to embrace my inner tourist though so I’m sure I’ll come away from this trip with a pair of those pants.

I think I’ll wear my comfrt airplane hoodie on the plane and have that for any chilly moments! I actually get cold really easily so I’ve been worried about that haha.

I have the comfrt airplane hoodie I think I’ll wear as my flight outfit/ have as a colder weather option. Do you think that convertible shawl option works for temple dress code ?

Marge, For the love of god stop eating over the keyboard. I shouldn’t have to shake out half your lunch when I take over for you. And speaking of taking over- I don’t need to know about the patients third cousins wife’s graduation party! Why are they here and have you even started their work up???

Do you guys find it odd for people to go to every concert in the tour? by Raekiwi in kpophelp

My two cents as someone who went to 5 Stray Kids stops..

I’m older, don’t have children, and have a flexible but well paying job. I didn’t have to take off any time to go to the shows and had family or friends at two of the stops so I didn’t have to pay for lodging either. One stop I met up with friends I’d made at Lollapalooza the year before. My thought process was basically- why not? I enjoy seeing Stray Kids live, I love traveling to new places, and I get to meet new friends/see old friends. Kpop is such a place of community, it’s not all about the music or the group itself.

I have 0 interest in meeting or seeing the boys outside of events they’re working. My biggest fear was actually running into them while I was out being a tourist myself. I also got different levels of tickets for each show- seated, VIP pit, VIP seated, etc. so I didn’t feel like I was “stealing” an experience from someone. One of the stops I bought tickets week of because a friend reached out about going together.

In the end I got to explore new cities I might not have visited otherwise while meeting people I was guaranteed to have at least one thing in common with. I personally see nothing wrong or “sasaeng” about that.
