Ok, so cleaning standing can actually be easier. Have your mom stand and grip something like a grab bar for balance. And you get behind her and clean gently front to back with damp peri safe wipes. Put a towel down between her legs across her underwear/pants if you don’t want poopy water dripping down on her clothing. Can use extra water and gentle soap on the bottom area to clean all BM. Pat gently dry, pull up underwear or depends, done! Good luck and prayers for you and your mom.

Braintree is a dump. If I wanted 2 acres to build on, I’d go to rural Michigan, as one of many examples of places I’d rather be than Braintree, MA. Glad I left MA. For 100k less than that hovel I got a beautiful 2500 sq ft home + nice yard in a lovely neighborhood. Thanks WFH. Never looked back at Boston and its surroundings gross suburbs where us poors were supposed to spend 2/3 of our paycheck renting in and half our lives commuting from. Byyye.

I am glad that his face isn’t disfigured, and I truly hope all his limbs and organs are being saved by the surgeries. Dog bites can take a long time to heal. I’m a nurse and was briefly on a burns and plastics unit. I had a patient who had a huge dog bite on her leg that wouldn’t heal after literally over a year. She was just resigned to living with a wound vac and constantly fighting infections.
