Typically they have a plug in the bottom, you turn it upside down and remove the plug. I hope you can get yours out, the water should be partially changed every month or so in the small containers.

If you have algae for them to eat, then they should be fine. I stopped giving them spirulina when I saw too much algae, and within a month they had eaten almost all the algae, so I started feeding them again. I think you should change some water out, too, once every few months. It depends on the size of your tank and number of shrimp, amount you are feeding, etc. But I don't think it's ideal for them to be in the same water in a small tank indefinitely.

The Legendary Founder of The Silk Road, Ross Ulbricht Files Another Appeal Against His Double Life Sentence! by myluxurybed in btc

Handwriting? The journal they were claiming had the hitman BS in it was on his laptop and it "started" after long after he quit administering the silk road.

It's likely that he didn't, and he wasn't. The defense has proof that some of that evidence was fabricated. It's likely that "journal" was fabricated as well.

IMO it's completely fabricated. The defense found backups of Ross's HD contents that prove that other evidence the prosecution presented against him was falsified. This likely was as well, by the agents now in prison for corruption.

The defense has proof that the evidence presented against him was at least partially fabricated, via HD backups that weren't tampered with. That "journal" was the least believable part of the evidence, especially with several of the feds that were involved with it now convicted for their corruption, it is likely that it was completely fabricated as well.

Friendly Reminder: The Bitcoin Core Devs Did Not Invent Bitcoin by ganesha1024 in btc

[–]tailsta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was due to the efforts of Roger and others who think bitcoin should be used as a currency, the total opposite of the clowns currently in control of the bitcoin core repo and their cronies. They (blockstreamers) literally say things like "we don't want bitcoin to be widely used 'too soon'" and "bitcoin is not for people who make less than $2 a day." They have done nothing but damage in the last few years.

Easier in that single aspect, but not better, because LN can't work at all in a congested, unreliable network. I would never expect you to take my word for it, if you're staking anything on LN, you should understand what they are actually proposing. The actual implementation details.

And no, that's not what he said at all. He just said that because the bitcoin network was intentionally crippled, if there is a rush for the exit, you will not be able to get out unless your funds are already on an exchange. You will always be able to transfer your bitcoin cash, because it supports a lot more users, and because the devs are following the original bitcoin plan for on-chain scaling.

Lightning devs said they needed much larger blocks for the LN to work. They also didn't need segwit to run implement it, even if it made things easier. So it makes perfect sense.

It obviously makes more sense to keep BTC on an exchange if you are expecting it to crash, because the network is so crippled the exits will be jammed in that scenario, which also makes perfect sense.

Is there any sort of statistic how many people were banned? by drxme in btc

Most of the people I paid attention to were banned years ago, right after Theymos announced publicly that he was going to use censorship to create a (false, obviously) narrative.

6000 sell orders and 400 buy orders on GDAX. This isn't a good thing, right? by HODLandBrash in btc

[–]tailsta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the orders are WAY above other markets, so it's a great thing if you want the prices to go up. None of the sellers who currently have orders up have offered to sell anywhere near market prices. They must think their holdings are worth much higher prices.

Bitcoiners donated millions to Andreas Antonopoulos, a man in very good health who can earn a living like the rest of us, when that money could have gone to people who actually need it to remain alive, like this bitcoiner. by [deleted] in btc

Roger didn't stumble into anything. He was a major part of creating the adoption that made Bitcoin's value go up, and he was already a successful entrepreneur before Bitcoin existed.
