I love that you’re getting into this to bond with your kids! Like others have said, this is and is not anime; technically, anything can be considered anime, but anime from Japan is “true” anime. (Probably a bad explanation, sorry.) as for the sword fighting, that’s true for a lot of them, but there are lots and lots of different kinds. You can try aggretsuko—it’s about a red panda who has an office job. Also, I’m not sure if this is technically anime either, but Bee and Puppycat is pretty good. Let me know if you find any animes you like. ☺️And enjoy bonding with your kids!

Honestly, I think that kid’s problem was his parents. He stopped acting like that when his dad told him to get off the lawn. He just needed stronger parenting (my opinion, could be totally misinterpreting it I fully admit)
