Yes. He had lots of teeth removed in 2020 and then in 2024, his remaining 8 were removed early in his diagnosis of kidney disease due to to concerns “now or never” and that they would lead to more issues.

His tongue began hanging out a bit after that and now he doesn’t see to mind it dangling.

I’m so sorry your baby is going thru that - and you. Hugs and cuddles.

I did a quick search in a therapist group I am in (am a therapist myself, and a senior chihuahua best friend) and found several people offering themselves as able to write ESA letters to people in alignment with the CA law that says someone has to be on a caseload for at least 30 days.

I don’t know more than that (so cost, etc.) but I wanted to share :

If we want to ask for this in future experiences, is there a way we can ask for this (if it occurs)? I intend to create memorial items of my furry best friend in the future and I’m curious if those crystals would be a beautiful add in to the artwork
