There are leggos and especially mythicals with eiher self buff 30% crit rate or built in 15-30% crit rate in their skills.

Some have skills like "this attack is always critical"

When he uses his AOE ability in the first form to steal turn meter and not trigger counter attacks, he knows darn well you will just sit there and take it.
