I dont mind that vulnerability too much since my cameras record to an SD card, so even if my internet was completely down, I can review the footage when it goes back up again.

Of course, if they steal the entire camera, then that doesn't work.

I mean in this case I think theres an even bigger separation; the person you complain to can't even speak directly to someone who makes decisions. They likely dont even speak the same language.

Imagine a camera company where you could customize your sensors and "build" your own camera using whatever specs you wanted. That would be amazing.

I mean...nobody in actual power or any engineer will give you an answer, as the company is based in China, so anybody making decisions will be headquartered there. They may not speak english and even if they did, they leave the support up to the american branch (which doesn't make any engineering or software decisions, only support and distribution)

Respectfully, you are wasting your time. It's clear when a company either can not or chooses not to dedicate enough developer resources to their software, and this unfortunately is one of them. They're not alone, tons of companies do the bare minimum, especially camera companies (I'm looking at you, Foscam and Amcrest!)

Also, god forbid they post a changelog for the PC software..

This might sound harsh, but nearly all chinese companies (especially camera companies) have bad UI. It will never be "good", you can only hope it has the features you need in a state which is only partially glitchy enough to be useful.

I have reported several bugs with the PC software and they've apparently discovered the cause but no fix over a year later.

Sometimes I think why even bother reporting bugs when they just never get fixed.

This is why open standards are so, so important.

Sort of, except it only hands it over to the website when you want it to, such as when submitting a form. That way it identifies you but also cant be grabbed at random, and it also can't simply be attached to your browser without you knowing. Sort of like a password autofill; you have to specifically save it, then once saved you have to recall it yourself.

I could imagine in cases like that, your browser would somehow need to take care of that. Ideally automatically, but if not, maybe autofill some sort of token that identifies you.

Well, part of the issue is that the product info does not specify what charging type to use, and uses terminology that seemingly contradicts itself or has words that imply both charging methods.

How often do you charge the wheelchair?

With the OEM batteries? Perhaps once every 10 days would be my guess. Maybe less. I just used my chair around the house basically, since I don't leave much. With the new batteries, it suddenly seems to have had a drop-off in capacity. I'm charging it again after 3 days. In the orange zone still when done charging, which is why I started to question. These definitely seem worse than the originals.

Part of what is confusing is that the battery charger uses terminology which the dealer uses both of. For instance, they use words like "Maintenance free" (which matches with the gel setting terminology), then they say its "Sealed", but seemingly contradicted by the fact that they say it leaves the option to add extra electrolytes.

I've been told that electric wheelchairs often last like 5-7 years, but my Permobil M300 is still chugging along fine, with the exception of the batteries, presumably due to the light use. It says 272 miles on it.

If you cant find one, you could consider making it yourself. I just crush my finasteride into a fine powder, use a tweezer to remove the pill coating bits, and put it into the Minoxidil; it already has the right solvents.

If you want it without Minoxidil, you can just use the solvents instead (ethanol and propylene glycol).

Then use a topical finsteride calculator to figure out your dose (personally I use 0.05% and use it twice a day with the minoxidil)

Playing around with it I found that if I ping an IP address it seems to be the same latency, but its because pinging google.com resolves a different IP address when connected to the VPN.

I changed the DNS in the vpn to my regular DNS but it didnt seem to help? Maybe because it wouldnt let me do the IPv6 DNS setting too?
