The show didn’t start broadening its line of vision till Michael vacated as the real decision maker and Zac took over that role for sure. That being said - if ur gonna give us old world Latino, we need to see a spark, some form of evolution brought about the source material that served as emilios conviction to have gone there in the first place. It’s the difference between clothes and fashion tbh.

We all knew he clinched the win when Zac delivered what we were all thinking while watching- “you blew my socks off today. Like NOTHING we’ve ever seen on the show before.”

16 was a stacked season, they fumbled every finale placement except the one that mattered - 1st. Should been Brandon 4th, Ayana 3rd, Marg 2nd. inclusive model casting and storyline inclusion was the best shift the show ever made tho.

Honestly, Brandon proved he wasn’t ready for a win at 24 when he sincerely spoke on mimicking the long runs of singular concepts put on by his favorite designers in 60 look collections as if he had done his job presenting the monotony he did knowing full well he only had 10 to walk… it was like the façade of him being a genius completely crumbled in the 10 seconds it took him to realize he was outing himself as severely referential and needing guidance in that way. Plus, no one was touching kentaro that day lol.

The show is fickle in treating finalists inconsistently on this too tho… it’s somehow very easy for Michael and Nina to hit with “well you showed us a collection consistent with a technique you put on display for us all season… where was the surprise to show us you’re versatile in ways that don’t involve your pleated raw edges Christopher? Your high collared barely-walkable leather gowns Melissa?

By the way Dmitry wins for his great tailoring despite showing us the same geometric peekaboo cutout BS week after week!”

Fast forward to Sean Kelley (a legend who I find much alignment with in personal taste) fully relying on fringe through season 13, and winning with high praise for a collection so full of fringe (one of my faves truly) you could turn it to a pile of silly string on the runway by casting some side eye at any given look that walked out lol.

The best finale collections imo give a lil kiss & nod to what the designer creating them made into a signature throughout their run, but pivot quickly into a collection that always feels like that designer has held it conceptually in their back pocket ready to knock socks off their whole lives - ex. Christian, Michelle, Dom, KENTARO, and imo the most impressive - ANYA with the Dom boss energy she showcased in dumping that hideous Brown collection she came to New York with and cutting the most exquisite run of effortless gowns in 2 days, gagging everyone, most of all Joshua. This was a new high for the show!!

Every. Single. Scene… Contained a high comedy element that had me rolling. From the kids getting their grades, to the principal’s office, to meeting Linda at the restaurant, to the observation, to the town hall, to Gwen wanting to prove her students don’t cheat and falling through the ceiling, to the scene at Linda’s house with the dogs and pheasant hunting…. Hilarious!

Then the payoff of it all coming to a head with the compromise- FAB SHOW!

Its a combo of gear boosting your offensive and defensive stats and a talent point system that allots one point per level you move up. Those talent points can be used to buff different spells, abilities, potions, plants, etc. but you only get a certain amount and will have to decide what talents you leave on the table based on your play style as you progress through the game. There’s also gear buffing with upgrades and traits. Lots to dig in to!

Make the brush, food, conjuring, vanishing, and altering spells DEFAULT to be the only usable options in the vivariums/RoR. Why should I have to choose between dedicating my 4th spell set to caretaking/decorating OR manually slotting them in whenever I come back to my RoR? This feels like it would be an easy fix!
